These are all gorgeous!
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is my top pick. [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is soft, surprising, and sweet yet sturdy, just like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f], while [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is a lovely strong and striking nature name to match [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]. They sound stunning together!
I also love [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Honora[/name_f], and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] do make for a fabulous short, sweet, spirited sister set.
Best of luck!
You have amazing choices!
I read [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and thought yes perfect with [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]! then I saw [name_f]Fern[/name_f] which is also perfect with [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] - plus I have a major soft spot for it.
My vote went for [name_f]Fern[/name_f].
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] third choice, [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] fourth. Stylistically [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is very different to [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]IMO[/name_f]
These are amazing!! I voted [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Honora[/name_f] - it’s vintage and charming, it feels connected to nature and sweet like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] Lavender (which is stunning btw)
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f] -light, floral and clear -was a close second
Thanks [name_f]Katinka[/name_f]! I find fern so sweet too. It’s soft but strong, it’s vintage, literary and rainforest all in a single syllable
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] was actually the very first name my husband and I agreed on…over 6 years ago now
Thanks for your input Gabriellenz. I agree that [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is the odd girl out, yet I’m still drawn to the name…I don’t know! I started looking for a full name I could use to get it as a nn but couldn’t find one I loved.
Thanks for your help greyblue. I wish I could use all the names! I do love that [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f]Honora[/name_f] has the nature and virtue elements present in [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]’s name, as well as echoing the syllable count
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is a great name. I’d want to pick [name_f]Fern[/name_f] for her sister since they’re both short, strong feminine no nonsense names. They go really nicely for sisters. I had to vote for [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] though. I love the sound of it. It’s not at all over done, but well known. It’s still a strong & feminine name just like [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. I only like [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] spelled this way, & [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is cute for a nn.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
My favorite is [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] is an evergreen classic with a twist, perfect on a young girl and a grown woman. I also think that [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is a gorgeous, serene nature name. This pairs perfectly with [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]: A vintage first, and a charming nature middle.
Another vote for the lovely [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. I think it matches [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f] perfectly! They aren’t matchy-matchy, which I don’t tend to be a fan of, and they really set each other off. [name_m]Just[/name_m] saying “[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]” makes them sound so pretty.
