[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! Here’s my not so short list of names, what name(s) would you use as a first?
What names should I drop and why?

[name_f]Noemi[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f] (ez-mee or ez-may?)
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Leona[/name_f]
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] (or other spelling?)

Thanks!

This is a great list! I especially love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Noemi[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_u]June[/name_u]. I’m not the biggest fan of [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Leona[/name_f], or [name_f]Isobel[/name_f], but really just because of random personal preference–they’re great names! [name_f]My[/name_f] default pronunciation for [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is ez-may, and my preferred spelling of [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] is [name_f]Isabel[/name_f].

Your list has some impeccable names. [name_f]My[/name_f] favourites from your list are [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] , [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Leona[/name_f]*

Lily and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] feel very popular to me. Not necessarily a bad thing. They are beautiful names and popular for a reason . But I try to go for recognition but still being unique

I like [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

Lucy- I like as a nickname and prefer [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], Lucianna , [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] etc

Lola - can’t get over the song

Esme- I appreciate as a nickname but have never been swooned by it. I do like it for others.

Your list reminds me of beautiful spring imagery !

This is a very pretty list!
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] ~ it’s a sweet botanical choice but suddenly jumped in popularity I wonder whether this name could be tied to this generation despite being an old name as suddenly it’s being used commonly again? Personally because you have so many great ones I would ditch.

Rose ~ absolutely love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] it’s so romantic and elegant. Gorgeous floral choice. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is stunning I would keep.

Noemi/Naomi ~ grouping these names together they are lovely but my favourite is [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] visually feels prettier. So I would ditch [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] and keep [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].

Lily ~ a lovely botanical name massive fan of lily and her variants I’ve just named my daughter [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is great so I would keep.

Lucy ~ never been a fan of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] just reminds me of the word ‘loose’ so I would ditch.

Lola ~ I think [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is a vibrant choice it’s spunky and has a majestic soulful vibe. I really like [name_f]Lola[/name_f]. Keep.

Esme ~ lovely name (I pronounce ez mee) but I think as your struggling with pronunciation issues I would ditch.

June ~ ah such a happy summery name full of sunshine and vintage charm. I would definitely keep.

Leona ~ gorgeous name with this strong lion brave vibe. I really love [name_f]Leona[/name_f] so would keep.

Isobel ~ I like this name it’s very sweet but I think as your having uncertainties about the spelling I would ditch.

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] list! I would most likely use these as first names:
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Leona[/name_f]
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]

I’m not too much of a fan of [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] & [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] simply because I grew up with many in my grade school days, but they are still lovely names. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] I like a bit better, but not really my style as much as the others.

All the names are fine, I’d probably go with [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_f]Leona[/name_f] because that’s more my vibe.

I love [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]! Of the two I would go with [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] because it is less common:)

I would categorize these names into classic vintage ([name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u]) and unique classics ([name_f]Noemi[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]).

Of your vintage names, I would pick [name_f]Lola[/name_f] for you because it’s lovely vintage but has a similar vibe to the other names you like. I personally am loving [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] right now. Thy would all go really nicely together.

Of the second category, I like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] for you. They give me a similar vibe to [name_f]Lola[/name_f] - longstanding classics with a fun (and [name_u]French[/name_u]) edge.

Hi there.

Here are my thoughts on the list-

Ivy-I like this name in theory. It’s feminine & spunky & vintage & botanical. All of the good things. But I don’t care for the sound. It reminds me of I.V.

Rose-This is lovely. Simple, warm, elegant, classic & has the built in sweet nn of [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]. Beautiful floral imagery as well.

Noemi-I used to think that I liked this, but I actually met someone called [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] recently. Hearing it said out loud it just sounded awkward.

Naomi-This is not my personal favorite either, but it’s perfectly nice. It’s smart & simple but not too over done.

Lily-I love this name. [name_m]Just[/name_m] the right amount of sweetness & vintage charm. Very popular though, if that bothers you.

Lucy-Same as above, really. Maybe a tad less common.

Lola-I think that I really like this as a nn. It’s just too cute on its own. I like it as a nn for [name_f]Eloisa[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] or [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f].

Esme-I say Ez-may. And I love it! It’s so beautiful & elegant & mysterious & pixie-ish. It probably will get mispronounced a lot, but maybe worth it for such a gorgeous name.

June-This is nice. Smart & polished & has the adorable nn of [name_f]Junie[/name_f].

Leona-I don’t know why, but I can’t get into this one. It’s just too old lady, which is weird, because I love old lady names. It’s not bad at all though. It’s different & pretty.

Isobel-I like this spelling best. I think either way you’re going to get it misspelled a bunch, since there are three common spellings. It’s a nice name though. Cute nns too. I like [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] & Ibbi. It is very popular.

Hope this helps.

Rose and [name_f]Noemi[/name_f] are pretty names.

My favorites are [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u].

The only one I dislike is [name_f]Lola[/name_f], as it has an unpleasant sound to me, and reminds me of the book [name_f]Lolita[/name_f].
