Which name better shares a connection?

First off, I am not pregnant but just building a list for future babies

I really like [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] right now because of the fact they share a connection of Spanish and have beautiful meanings.

[name_f]Mila[/name_f] means Dear in slavic, but comes from the Spanish word “[name_f]Milagros[/name_f]” which means miracle.

[name_f]Cora[/name_f] means maiden in greek, but the cora is included in the Spanish word “Corazon” meaning heart.

I have been searching for other names that have a subtle tie to Spanish. Here are the names I have come up with:

[name_f]Vera[/name_f]-[name_u]Truth[/name_u] in Spanish (pronounced as Vare-ah)
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]- Island in Spanish (pronounced as Is-la not Eye-la)
[name_f]Alma[/name_f]- Means soul in Spanish (pronounced [name_m]Al[/name_m]-ma not All-ma)
[name_f]Luna[/name_f]-Means moon in Spanish
[name_f]Silvia[/name_f]-Means from the woods in Spanish

Which do you think would best fit with [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f]? Thank you for the help!

[name_f]Vera[/name_f] feels like an older style than [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f].
[name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Alma[/name_f] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] fit perfectly with both names and [name_f]Silvia[/name_f] doesn’t fit the syllable count. If you already had kids [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f], I’d pick [name_f]Alma[/name_f] to make the sib-set. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] are very popular, where as [name_f]Alma[/name_f] fits better with your other names.

I agree with @mamapirate. [name_f]Alma[/name_f] is short and, while it has vintage roots, feels more modern, like [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f]. It also fits in with many current sound trends while not being too popular. I also think it has the best-suited meaning, as “miracle,” “heart,” and “soul” are perfect together in terms of that, where as a nature meaning such as from [name_f]Isla[/name_f] or [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], while nice, doesn’t fit that as well.

I agree with mamapirate.

[name_f]Alma[/name_f] is perfect!

Another vote for alma!

[name_f]Mila[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Silvia[/name_f] sound really nice together

I like that the syllable count doesn’t match, but if it bothers you then I agree with pps, [name_f]Alma[/name_f] is the best fit. [name_f]Miracle[/name_f], Heart and Soul <3
