[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] by a mile. Her history is lovely and it’s an all round perfect name.
[name_f]Una[/name_f] is nice, but not 100% Irish in her origins (it’s also a Latin name). I like [name_f]Orla[/name_f], [name_f]Orlaith[/name_f] is nicer, but in my English accent it kinda flops… without the heavy ‘orrrr’ sound it looses it’s Irish charm.
I was thinking that [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] / [name_u]Keeva[/name_u] was so pretty today.
I voted [name_f]Orla[/name_f], although I quite like the [name_f]Orlaith[/name_f] spelling, despite being more problematic. I want to like [name_f]Aoife[/name_f], but something sounds off about it when I say it, and I managed to mishear it as ether (like the compounds in chemistry) when someone said it. [name_f]Una[/name_f] is another one I want to like (it reminds me of [name_f]Una[/name_f] Stubbs, which is great), but I can only think of the number one.
I love, love, love [name_f]Una[/name_f] (although I prefer the spelling, [name_f]Oona[/name_f]).
