- [name_u]Noah[/name_u]
- [name_u]Jonah[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Noah[/name_u] has a softer sound. Also the biblical connotations are a bit nicer.
Jonah(it’s my favourite boys name)!!!
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] is really nice too!
I love [name_u]Jonah[/name_u]. Great meaning and sound
Jonah sounds peaceful!
Noah is so handsome, and classic sounding and has a bit of a romantic flair about it. ( Yep I’m thinking of the notebook) only down side is, it’s popular. [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] is ok but for me it doesn’t have the same appeal as [name_u]Noah[/name_u].
They are both very handsome names with familiar Old Testament stories, but I voted for [name_u]Jonah[/name_u], mostly because [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is so popular, but while [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] is similar, I have yet to meet one.
I love the fact [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] means dove! It’s also fairly unpopular compared to [name_u]Noah[/name_u], and I like the nn [name_u]Jojo[/name_u] with it! [name_u]Noah[/name_u] lost its magic with me given how popular it is (it was the definite name for my niece had she been born a boy), I’m 100% [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] all the way
They are both fine, but I definitely prefer [name_u]Jonah[/name_u]. I like the strong, anchoring n in [name_u]Jonah[/name_u], plus I love [name_m]John[/name_m] and even more so [name_m]Joseph[/name_m].
Noah is a little too amorphous sounding to my ear.
I prefer [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] since it’s an underused Biblical name. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is nice but extremely popular.
Both are very connected to their respective Bible stories. I get more positive feelings from [name_u]Noah[/name_u], partially for that reason.
As someone who prefers names that aren’t biblical/Christian, I prefer [name_u]Noah[/name_u]. I feel like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] can be separated from the religious aspect, while [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] cannot.
I voted for [name_u]Jonah[/name_u]. It’s less common, & just has such a sweet lovable vibe.
I really love both, but [name_u]Noah[/name_u] has a lovely soft sound.
Jonah because [name_u]Noah[/name_u] feels a bit associated with a certain not-so-great type of people for me.
Jonah gets my vote!
Noah is a bit too soft, in my opinion. Not to mention, extremely popular. [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] has more personality, and I happen to love the story of [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] and the whale (as a non-religious person).
Both are absolutely beautiful! [name_u]Noah[/name_u] sounds softer, while [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] feels warmer.
