Which boy name do you prefer? His TWIN sister will be [name_f]Solenne[/name_f] and older brother is [name_u]Kai[/name_u]

[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] ([name_u]Theo[/name_u])
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m] (concern: it might be becoming too popular/trendy?)

I think [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] definitely fits into your sibset better than the classic [name_m]Theodore[/name_m].

I agree with this. I love [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]. I have actually met/know/known many boys and men named [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]/[name_u]Teddy[/name_u], [name_m]Ted[/name_m]/[name_u]Theo[/name_u]. I have never met a [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].

I agree that [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] fits better than [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], but [name_u]Theo[/name_u] on its own could work. I adore [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], wish I could have used it myself.

If [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] is getting too trendy for you, [name_u]Roan[/name_u] is another option. Either way, I like the nn [name_f]Ro[/name_f] with [name_u]Kai[/name_u].

I would prefer [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] but if you are concerned that it is getting too popular - I think [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] would work too
btw [name_f]Solenne[/name_f] is such a great name :slight_smile:

I prefer [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] as a name although I think [name_u]Theo[/name_u] works better with a brother named [name_u]Kai[/name_u]. I don’t like the So-[name_f]Ro[/name_f] beginnings and the “n” endings of [name_f]Solenne[/name_f] and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]. I find the names a little matchy.

I like [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] better, but I think [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] could work well enough. [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] just has that friendly, approachable factor that [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] seems to lack, at least to me.

Should have mentioned we will use [name_u]Theo[/name_u] if we decide to use it. [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] on birth certificate

I prefer [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. I love it, especially with the nn [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. [name_f]Solenne[/name_f], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]… Adorable. :slight_smile:

I agree. On it’s own, [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] is very appealing, but if you consider the sibset, I think (as the above comments) that [name_u]Kai[/name_u], [name_f]Leni[/name_f] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] are seamless together!

Thanks all! It’s a tough decision. At least we’ve landed on a girl’s name.

I’ve always loved [name_u]Theo[/name_u] as I think it’s a classic, has great meaning and is not overused. [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] just hit us out of the blue and I love it…buy husband seems to think it’s going to take off and become the next big name – I’m not so sure about that. They’re both the forerunners. BTW the middle name will be [name_m]John[/name_m] after my dad.
