I forever seem to be changing my mind on name in this sibset… Which boys name works best with [name]Darwin[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Georgia[/name]?
Here are the choices:
If it helps, the middle names will most likely be [name]Jeffrey[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] or [name]Avery[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] (excluding [name]Jeremy[/name], since the flow isn’t right).
Suggestions/opinions for first names would be awesome. My only request is no Biblical names.
I would rule out [name]Jeremy[/name], though, because it starts with a J sound, like [name]Georgia[/name]. That leaves:
[name]Archer[/name]
[name]Morgan[/name]
I think that [name]Archer[/name] [name]Avery[/name]/[name]Jeffrey[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] flows a bit better than [name]Morgan[/name] [name]Avery[/name]/[name]Jeffrey[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] because both [name]Morgan[/name] and [name]Harrison[/name] end in N, so I would go with [name]Archer[/name].
With the middle names, I would choose [name]Archer[/name] [name]Avery[/name] [name]Harrison[/name].
Are you still set on [name]Darwin[/name] [name]James[/name] [name]Roderick[/name], [name]Claire[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] [name]Marie[/name], and [name]Georgia[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] [name]Alexandra[/name]?
I’m assuming you tend to like trendier names for boys, unless [name]Darwin[/name] has family significance. [name]Darwin[/name] stands out a bit next to the super classic [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Georgia[/name], so maybe another trendy name would be more cohesive, but that’s not necessarily my style. i do think you have a few “bridge-gappers” on your list that owuld work, though.
[name]Archer[/name] - Seems to be the new [name]Hunter[/name]. People want something that is “hunter-y”, but not as popular. I don’t like it. It’s violent to me.
[name]Jeremy[/name] - Ok, not a name I like or dislike. Seems very disjointed with [name]Darwin[/name], and even with [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Georgia[/name].
[name]Finn[/name] - I htink this is one that would work to bridge the gap in styles between [name]Darwin[/name], [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Georgia[/name] quite nicely.
[name]Lucas[/name] - I love this. I think, while it has a different feel than the other names of your kids’, it works.
[name]Dashiell[/name] - Another really good one for bridging the gap. it has a slightly old-school Southern charm (not sure why it feels like that to me, I think it’s a French(ish) surname) like [name]Georgia[/name], but still has a trendy feel like [name]Darwin[/name].
[name]Morgan[/name] - I like this for a boy, but in this group, even though your girls have clearly feminine names, [name]Morgan[/name] feels like a sister.
[name]Jack[/name] - You really can never go wrong with [name]Jack[/name], although I prefer it as a nn.
I think [name]Morgan[/name] [name]Avery[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] or [name]Finn[/name] [name]Avery[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] works best with that sibset. Does it bother you that [name]Morgan[/name] is becoming popular on girls? I love the name for a boy but I’ve known many girls with the name.
[name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Jeffrey[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] is just handsome. I love it and I love the sibset would-be of [name]Darwin[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Georgia[/name] and [name]Dashiell[/name].
