Which Name for Charlotte's Sister?

  • Nora
  • Victoria
  • Gabrielle

We don’t like nicknames, which favors Nora, but Victoria/Gabrielle seem at least a bit more exciting and have more ‘pop’ to me. Thoughts? This is hard!

I voted for Nora! I know a lot more Gabrielles/Gabriellas than Noras, personally, so Nora seems more exciting! And Gabrielle is almost guaranteed to get nicknamed to Gabby, so I think it’s between Nora & Victoria for you if you don’t like nicknames!

Victoria is still a wonderful choice, but I just like the simple elegance of Nora.

nora sounds stylistically like the best match for charlotte! unfortunately the other names will definitely be shortened by well meaning friends and family. plus nora feels classy and elegant without being overly stiff. gabrielle will become dated more quickly and victoria can feel a bit too formal, but nora falls right in the middle!

I love [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] “Tori,” since they share a regal beauty. I don’t like the nickname “Vicky” if that’s the nn [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] gets. As for [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], I’m just not a fan. I don’t like the “Gab” opening.

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is cute, but definitely one of those quirky, old-fashioned type names that’s more clunky cute than elegant to me. Whereas [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is pure class (I love your daughter’s name if you can’t tell!).

I think [name_f]Nora[/name_f] matches well with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and has the most “pop”! [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] actually feel more used than [name_f]Nora[/name_f], atleast where I live.

I like all of three and cannot choose; what about [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] or [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f]?

I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]! It’s been used very independently for a while, so it doesn’t feel that nickname-y.

I voted for [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].

[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and I really love my name it’s timeless, graceful and regal. I think she works perfectly with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] they feel well polished and sophisticated. However she may have her name shortened which is something you have to be prepared for.
