I love [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]! I voted for [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] because I think it matches the spunkiness of your other kids’ names.
[name_f]IMO[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] fits perfectly with [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f]. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] sibset! My second fave is [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f].
I voted [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] but also love [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
Good luck! I felt the same when I was preg, its hard
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] has been on my list for so long, I think it’s absolutely stunning, and it definitely gets my vote!
Your kids have such absolutely terrific names that i can see that it would be hard to find a name equal. I think [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] can fit right in though. [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] as a second choice. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] don’t have quite the same wonderful pep and spunkiness that I get from the others.
My favorite for you is [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. It’s lovely!
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] work best in my mind, and I really like [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] which I’d put 3rd. I think [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] works well with the set but I just prefer the other 3.
I really love [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] for you. Other ideas:
[name_f]Sybil[/name_f]
[name_f]Apolline[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Portia[/name_f]
[name_f]Verona[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Faustina[/name_f]
[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]/[name_f]Neve[/name_f]
[name_f]Iona[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
One more idea: [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]!
As much as I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] I think it is too popular compared to the fairly uncommon [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] fits perfectly!!
What do you think about [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]?
My vote goes to [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]! Like [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f], it’s bright and substantial, and unique without being outlandish or unheard of. In terms of suggestions:
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]: This name is very bright and unusual, and has a lot of the dynamic daring of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], but the vibe of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]/[name_f]Cressida[/name_f]: When I saw [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], I thought of these two immediately. [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] is an elegant, unusual and distinctive nature name with two equally gorgeous pronunciations. I particularly like the [name_m]Cash[/name_m]-a pronunciation because it subtly incorporates some of the sounds of [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f]. The alternate spelling [name_f]Kassia[/name_f] has wonderful historical ties, too. [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] is a bit longer and has the meaning of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], as well as the origin. It’s very elegant and feminine, but also has a lot of spunk and life.
[name_f]Eliora[/name_f]: This is a very dynamic, upbeat name that has the vibe of [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] but some of the sounds and the flow of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
[name_f]Sabine[/name_f]/[name_f]Sabina[/name_f]: These have the long “e” sound that is present in many of your favorites, including [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Junia[/name_f], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]. Both are tailored and feel modern, unique, and definitely not trendy, and would make an unexpected, ultra-cool choice.
[name_f]Neve[/name_f]/[name_f]Neva[/name_f]: [name_u]Unique[/name_u], evocative, and dynamic names with beautiful nature ties.
[name_f]Gaia[/name_f]: I love this name. It’s a Greek name, and has roots in mythology, like many of your favorites. It’s highly unusual and packs quite a punch in few letters. [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] is an equally lovely option.
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f]: Beautiful, unusual, lively, and with lots of spunk and spunk.
[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f]: Toughness, strength, mythological origins, and lots of beauty. One of my first thoughts upon seeing [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], as it shares a few of those sounds.
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f]: Amongst the most impactful names out there. [name_f]Olympia[/name_f] is another, slightly gentler, choice that fits the same criteria.
[name_u]Ember[/name_u]: The first thing I thought of when I saw [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] is the equally unisex, fierce, bright [name_u]Ember[/name_u]. Other thoughts were [name_f]Solstice[/name_f], [name_f]Lyra[/name_f], [name_f]Petra[/name_f], and [name_f]Cosima[/name_f].
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]/[name_f]Waverley[/name_f]: Literary, unexpected, and a nature name. It has lots of the pluses of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], an unusual first consonant sound, and fits very nicely with your sibset.
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]: Spunky, distinctive, rare, and dynamic. [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] combines the sounds of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], but isn’t as popular as either.
[name_f]Acacia[/name_f]: Amongst the brightest, brashest names out there. [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] is a flower name like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], has the long “a” of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], and is extremely dynamic and unique.
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]: When I saw [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], I immediately thought of this. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] shares a meaning with [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f], and its ancient, mythological pedigree. However, it’s also a vintage revival name akin to [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. It feels lively and spunky, but also has a great deal of elegance.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]: Your children’s names make me think of spunky dreamers, and this name defines that for me, via [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] [name_m]Duncan[/name_m]. However, I think it also fits with your style: Prominent vowel sounds, classical origins, and rarity.
[name_f]Astraea[/name_f]/Astarte:[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_f]Astraea[/name_f] share meanings, and both are very cutting-edge, bold choices. [name_f]Astraea[/name_f] is a beautiful, feminine choice that shares some of the sounds of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], and seems like a great middle between the two mentioned. There is also the spelling [name_f]Estrella[/name_f]. Astarte is one of those genuinely cool, fierce names that is also beautiful: It means “mother goddess” and has the ancient mythological vibe of many of your favorites.
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is my favorite with your sibset followed by [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]. [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], and [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] were some other names that came to mind for you.
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] is just gorgeous, and I think she fits nicely with Dashel & [name_f]Junia[/name_f]. That said though, I do think [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] fits in even better – but it’d definitely be between these two for me with your two kid’s names.
This was a tough choice.
Far and away my favorite name here is [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f], but it was edged out for the vote by [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] because is seems all too perfect with Dashel and [name_f]Junia[/name_f].
So vote and top choice for you is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f].
Another poster mentioned [name_f]Romilly[/name_f] which I also really like for your set!
I love [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] with [name_f]Junia[/name_f] and Dashel. I love [name_f]Junia[/name_f] by the way! Such a pretty, underused name.
What fabulous names!
I especially love [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] and [name_u]Vesper[/name_u], and think either would go wonderfully with your set.
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] just pipped it for me. It’s bold and feisty, but feels just a touch more conventionally feminine to match the beautiful [name_f]Junia[/name_f].
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] all the way! I do like [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] for you, too, but I like [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] even more.
Torn beteeen [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
I like all your options except [name_u]Vesper[/name_u]. I find it too unisex next to [name_f]Junia[/name_f]. I chose [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] because I thought it had as much spunk as your other children’s names. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is my 2nd choice. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] are really beautiful but seem a bit ordinary compared to [name_u]Dash[/name_u] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f].
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u] or [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f].
I voted for [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] though because I love the spunkiness of it, and it sounds do good with sibs.
