Which name should I choose?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I’m really struggling with which first name I should choose for my first daughter. I like all of these names, but I just can’t decide which name to choose.
Here they are,
[name_f]Freida[/name_f] --> I think this is my favourite, but I’m not sure. [pr. free-duh]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] --> I’ve been told it’s spunky and cute, but I’m not so sure about this one.
[name_f]India[/name_f] --> No connection to the place, I just love the sound of it and the way it looks.
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] --> [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling because of french family and it sounds and looks pretty.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] --> I think this name is super spunky and cute.

So these are quite different I think. My problem is that if I have a second daughter, I think it would be odd to have a classical name like [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and a more unique name like [name_f]India[/name_f], so I think I need more names within each theme. [I’d love a list of names similar names to my list].

My list going from favourite to least favourite would have to be [Right now], [name_f]Freida[/name_f], [name_f]India[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. I’d like your opinion if you think it would be weird to have daughters named [name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_f]Freida[/name_f]. Are they too similar?

Thanks! xx

I adore the name [name_f]India[/name_f] on a girl! I’ve been hooked on this name ever since [name_u]Chris[/name_u] Hemsworth (aka [name_m]Thor[/name_m]) named his baby girl [name_f]India[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], I just think it’s such a cute name  [name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_f]Freida[/name_f] don’t sound that similar in my opinion I think it sounds good together :). In my opinion I don’t any two names can sound wrong together, at the end of the day it’s your preference. I also think [name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] sound cute together too

[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] is so beautiful.

I like [name_f]India[/name_f] best.

I was immediately drawn to [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. I think you may be right about [name_f]India[/name_f] being a more modern name as compared to some of the more classic names on your list. I like [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and [name_f]Freida[/name_f] together or [name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] together.

[name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_f]Freida[/name_f] just don’t go together for me. [name_f]India[/name_f] feels very luxe, whereas [name_f]Freida[/name_f] does not. At least in my opinion.

I actually think of your list, [name_f]India[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] work best together, because they are both vintage classic names. Well, and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. They’re all in the same vein. [name_f]India[/name_f] has a bit more of an exotic rich flair, if you will, whereas [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] feels more homely and comfortable, and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] could be modern [name_m]French[/name_m] or subtly classic. With [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], I particularly like [name_u]Abilene[/name_u], [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Molly[/name_f], [name_f]Patience[/name_f], [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] together. With [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], I like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Anais[/name_f], [name_f]Brigitte[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Eloise[/name_f], [name_f]Estella[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Leonie[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Nathalie[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f], [name_f]Regina[/name_f], [name_u]Simone[/name_u], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] together. With [name_f]India[/name_f], perhaps [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Amabel[/name_f], [name_f]Bryony[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Christabel[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f], [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Mariel[/name_f], [name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Margaretta[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], and [name_f]Vittoria[/name_f].

*I prefer the spelling [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] to [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], feels a little less humdrum.

[name_f]Freida[/name_f], I can’t quite classify. I’m sorry. Hopefully someone else can help you with similar names.

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is off on her own on your list! She sure is spunky, yes. I could see names like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], [name_u]Brett[/name_u], [name_u]Ellery[/name_u], [name_u]Ellis[/name_u], [name_u]Hollis[/name_u], [name_u]Linden[/name_u], [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Sutton[/name_u], [name_u]Tatum[/name_u], and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] with her.

I love [name_f]Freida[/name_f] best. I feel like this is really underused and beautiful, with a great meaning. I love the combination [name_f]Freida[/name_f] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] as well.

[name_f]Freida[/name_f] and [name_f]India[/name_f] have the same sorta of exotic spunk to me, I think they would work together for two siblings.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] also feel like a great sib-set.
For [name_u]Piper[/name_u], I would select [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] to go with it from your list. Names not on your list that I think go with [name_u]Piper[/name_u] are: [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_u]Skyler[/name_u], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Summer[/name_f].

Another [name_f]Freida[/name_f] fan! I love the name. I think it is cute, fun, sassy and lovely all at the same time. [name_f]Freida[/name_f] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] is sure to be a spit-fire!
