My husband and I have been narrowing down our little girl’s name for awhile. We finally decided on [name]Macie[/name] [name]Layne[/name]. Now, I am second guessing… I also am beginning to really like the name [name]Aubrey[/name] [name]Layne[/name]. Which one do you like better, or do you have any other suggestions that would fit along with these?
While neither [name]Macie[/name] [name]Layne[/name] or [name]Aubrey[/name] [name]Layne[/name] is my style, if I had to pick one, I’d probably go with [name]Aubrey[/name] [name]Lane[/name], with [name]Lane[/name] spelled its authentic way. (What about the classic [name]Audrey[/name]?) If [name]Macy[/name] were spelled its authentic way, I may have chosen that name, but [name]Macie[/name] won’t age as well as [name]Macy[/name], and she’ll have to correct people’s spelling her entire life (and the same goes for [name]Layne[/name]). I think [name]Lane[/name] would make a cute first name…
Other ideas from this style:
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Bronwyn[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Cambrie[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Camden[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name])
[name]Delancey[/name]
[name]Devon[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Emery[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Ellery[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Finley[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name])
[name]Harper[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name])
[name]Linden[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name])
[name]Morgan[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Paige[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name])
[name]Quinn[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name])
[name]Quincy[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Sawyer[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Tierney[/name] [name]Lane[/name]
[name]Non[/name]-trendy ideas:
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Lane[/name] (instead of [name]Aubrey[/name])
[name]Audra[/name] (instead of [name]Aubrey[/name])
[name]Lucy[/name] (but not with [name]Lane[/name], instead of [name]Macy[/name])
I just realized that “[name]Macy[/name] [name]Lane[/name]” said aloud sounds like “[name]Mace[/name] [name]Elaine[/name]” to me, so I thought I’d mention it…
Best wishes to you!
My top choice for you is [name]Aubrey[/name] [name]Lane[/name]. I think the [name]Lane[/name] spelling looks much nicer than [name]Layne[/name], just because of the unnecessary “y” in the middle. I’m not a fan of [name]Macie[/name] at all; it’s just too cutesy for me, as is [name]Macy[/name], to a lesser extent.
I like [name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u] best, but I also like [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_u]Lane[/name_u]. Good luck!
Sounds beautiful for me:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u]
[name_f]Macy[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u]
Good luck!
I lile [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_u]Lane[/name_u] sounds very classy.
