As a first name I would go with [name_f]Grace[/name_f].

They’re both lovely names, but [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] will start to feel a little dated in the near future I fear. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is so overused as a filler middle, but so underused as a first name in my opinion. I believe its classic strength would make it a gift for any bearer.

I love [name_f]Grace[/name_f]! [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] is lovely, but I have met too many for it to feel fresh to me. I do know a couple Graces, but it’s a huge favorite despite popularity, anyhow, so I’d have no qualms using it, regardless of popularity. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you don’t have a MN picked out, I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] or [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] would be lovely.

Definitely, [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Grace[/name_f] ages better and is less likely to feel dated.

100% agreed with tfzolghadr

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] gets my vote. I feel like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] is on it’s way to being dated. I also don’t have favorable associations with the name which really taint it.

I prefer [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is sweet and classic but a little bland [name_f]IMO[/name_f], and much much more overused where I live.

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] feels strong, sophisticated, tailored and quietly quirky without screaming “look at me!” A great choice to suit all ages.

[name_f]Grace[/name_f] is pretty, sweet and timeless imo

I love Autumn! I have only ever met one. It is so sweet and colorful

It may be because I went to Catholic school, but I have encountered a ton of people named Grace. It is a pretty name, for sure, but has lost its sparkle for me. I love a lot of common names, but I just know way to many girls named Mary and Grace, haha.

Good luck!

Knowing your last name could make a big difference. Is it longer than one syllable?
I’m not fond of [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m], for instance.
But I wouldn’t pair [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] with [name_u]Brennan[/name_u] since both end with ‘n’.
So [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] are both lovely and mainly depend on what surname she’ll have.
Also…consider the initals. Could be AGE or GAG…

Yes [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I voted [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] because I love the name a lot but I agree with the Pps, [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is so beautiful and now seems quite rare as a first name

I think they’re both great names. If one of them sounds much better with the surname, that would be my choice. Otherwise I choose [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. It’s more distinctive, stylish but understated. I’ve never come across one so doesn’t feel over-used. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is very popular, but that’s fine since with such a classic name it can carry popularity well.
