Would [name]Grace[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] or [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] sound better?
I realize the [name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] “The [name]Scarlet[/name] Letter” connection with scarlett, but i’m torn because i really love the name and [name]Grace[/name] is reeeaaaallly popular. What do you think?
It sounds like [name]Scarlett[/name] is the name you really love, despite the literary connections. I personally think [name]Grace[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] flows better, but either sounds nice to me. If it’s [name]Scarlett[/name] that you really like, I’d say you should go with it.
[name]Even[/name] though [name]Grace[/name] is #21 and [name]Scarlett[/name] is #210, [name]Grace[/name] feels so timeless to me, like [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Anna[/name]. Plus, there may not be many Graces in your area.
I love both names, but I couldn’t help but notice The [name]Scarlett[/name] Letter/[name]Hawthorne[/name] connection, and I’m guessing she’ll hear this a lot during her life. On the bright side, it’s a great book! (By the way, I beyond love your last name!)
You could always use [name]Scarlett[/name] in the middle with another first name if you’re uncomfortable with using [name]Scarlett[/name] up front.
[name]Grace[/name] [name]Hawthorne[/name] sounds so elegant to me, so I’m giving it my vote, but I do love [name]Scarlett[/name], too.
I hope you choose the name that you love the most!
