I don’t like the repetitive ‘a’ sounds [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] would have with a surname that starts with ‘a’, so I would go with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. I prefer [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] to [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

I agree, and also voted for [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

Hmm I don’t always mind a-A transitions. Depends on the a sound at the start of the last name, and how many syllables. Can you give us something it rhymes with? [name_f]My[/name_f] order of preference without the last name is
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]

If the last name starts with an ‘A’, I’d (imo) avoid a fn ending with ‘A’
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote was [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].

[name_f]My[/name_f] personal favorite is [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] but with your surname my favorite would be [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].

Well, I would vote for [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] as my fave, but with an A last name, I would go with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
As an example, I do think that [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_m]Allen[/name_m] would sound better than [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_m]Allen[/name_m].
