Which names do you like from my list?

I have a semi-long list which I’d like to narrow down! Out of these which would you say are the top three most interesting but wearable? Also aging well is a must so let me know if any of these you couldn’t picture on a professional adult woman or on a cute kid. Middle name would likely be [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] or a variation like [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] unless they go very poorly with the first name. Also, many of these are family names from my very Irish family, but I live in the USA so pronunciation is a concern.

[name_u]Connie[/name_u]
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] nn [name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Liza[/name_f] (Maybe with full name [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but I don’t love the full name)
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Mahala[/name_f] (mu-HAY-luh, called [name_f]Hala[/name_f] pronounced HAY-luh)
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Pippa[/name_f]
[name_f]Roisin[/name_f] (ro-[name_m]SHEEN[/name_m])
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f]

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my top three:

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-I love this name. It’s so elegant yet has just the right amount of spunk. It’s super feminine yet not too frilly, works well for any age, is sophisticated yet friendly. It’s very recognizable, but not at all common. The only thing that I don’t like about it is the lack of nns. It doesn’t sound great w/any variants of [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] really…maybe [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]?

[name_f]Elinor[/name_f]-This is actually my favorite from the list. I put it at the #2 spot, because it’s fairly common. Especially if you go w/the nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. There are a bunch of those running around. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I think it’s adorable. I even more love [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] though! I also prefer the [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] spelling, which is more common so could be less of a headache. But in conclusion, I think that this name is smart, beautiful & pretty much perfect minus the popularity factor.

[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]-Well, this is my third favorite from the list. It’s certainly wearable & grows up well. It’s very pretty, kind yet sophisticated just like [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] & [name_f]Elinor[/name_f]. But I wouldn’t say that it’s super interesting, since I kind of hear it a lot.

Sooo, I’m not sure that I did this top three right! [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] #1 for sure as being interesting, wearable & just a fantastic name. I think that [name_f]Florence[/name_f] nn [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is interesting. I kind of prefer just [name_f]Flora[/name_f] though. [name_f]Florence[/name_f] is kind of stuffy old lady to me, but I thin that I’m in the minority.

Hopefully my rambling helps.

My favourite is [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], I know an [name_m]Oisin[/name_m] and once you’re told how to pronounce it the issue of pronunciation isn’t so bad as it is easy once you know. [name_f]Roisin[/name_f] is an absolutely adorable name that wears well throughout life.
I am also a fan of [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f]

[name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Maxine[/name_f], and [name_f]Margot[/name_f]!

I really like [name_u]Connie[/name_u], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]

Most interesting but wearable in the US? I’d say…
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] nn [name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Philippa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Pippa[/name_f]

My favorite is [name_f]Elinor[/name_f], but I think it will be mistaken for [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] all the time which is a hassle, and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is very popular.

(I cut [name_u]Connie[/name_u], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Liza[/name_f] because they feel less interesting or dated. Still good names, just didn’t match your criteria. [name_f]Roisin[/name_f] and [name_f]Mahala[/name_f] are nice but less wearable because of pronunciation. [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] seem ripe for teasing.)

[name_f]Liza[/name_f] - this is sweet, classical yet spunky too. Familiar but not common.

[name_f]Florence[/name_f] - maybe I’m being biased because I’m crushing on [name_f]Florence[/name_f] at the moment, but she’s so sweet yet mature at the same time. I’ve never loved [name_f]Flora[/name_f], but she’s growing on me too lately!

[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] - I’m not sure if I prefer this spelling to [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] or not. It’s certainly a lot more interesting as I feel I have seen [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] a lot recently. Either way she’s one of those that won’t date, and I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f], if that would be a nickname option for you!

My favourites are [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. I think they’re interesting but not totally out there, and I can picture them working well on any age. I also like [name_f]Philippa[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f].

My top 3
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f]

I see these as interesting, wearable and aging well. I also love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] but not [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] but not [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f]. That’s just my personal taste though, nothing wrong with those names.

My top four names…
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] - such an elegant name with a range of gorgeous nicknames I do prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but still the name is lovely. Also [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is very pretty.

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - this is a gem of a name! I’m using it as a middle name for one of my combinations to honour a [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] it’s really pretty vintage choice. I think [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_f]Laura[/name_f] would be pretty.

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - I love the name [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and all her variants including [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is such a pretty name. I really like [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Laura[/name_f] it’s so classic.

[name_u]Vivian[/name_u] - finally my fourth favourite is [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] it’s a lovely name and I like the nickname [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] it’s very feminine and suits all ages. [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_u]Laurie[/name_u] would be a fun vintage choice.

My absolute favourite is [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Laura[/name_f] : )

Thanks everyone for your input! It seems like there’s a lot of love for [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] out there, it’s quickly becoming my absolute favorite as well

[name_f]Elinor[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] and [name_f]Zelda[/name_f] are all fantastic names. My favourites are [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] - i’d use them tomorrow if I could!

[name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Roisin[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u]
[name_f]Elinor[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
