my sister and I have the most “basic” names imaginable for our demographic. the reason why we were given very common names was because we have a very unusual surname haha!
my mum definitely likes traditional names, whereas my dad likes names that are a bit less traditional (he has mentioned [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] quite a lot)
my best friend really likes the names [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] (which I really like too but can never use due to associations with unpleasant cousins for both of those names)
I have a friend who’s getting married next year and they’re probably going to start trying for kids soon after and I have no idea what kind of names they both like - they are Christians though so they might give their kids Biblical names - if I’m right, I hope the names are slightly interesting lol

Here are the favourite names of my friends! 
M: His favourite names are Veronica, Elizabeth and Julieta. Also appreciates Vittoria and Valentina.
N: Shapur, Elena, Teodora, Huzmur, Svetlana, Giustino, Clodoveo, Amira, Ormisda, Aldo, Florian, Almirante, Petra, Costanza, Violet, Emilia, Tosca, Veronika, and most of Persian, Greek, and Ancient Roman names. (He is a great friend, discussed about names with him a lot!)
T: He mentioned to like Cesare as a favourite name, he also likes Emilio, Aurelio and other Roman names.
L: She just likes Emma. Basically simple names that hit home and are bucolic and cottagecore?
J: She likes most international names (she means English names), like Ophelia, Grace, Alice.
A: She doesn’t mind any name as long it is rare and particular, but still dignitous, because she dislikes her name which is too common.
D: She likes Florence, Manon, Claudio, basically Italian-French-Victorian names that are vintage or sound literary.
My brother:
Likes basic names, but said also to like Lorenzo and Olivia.
We all live in an Italian speaking context.

My partner doesn’t really love any name, he just wants to honour his loved ones. He told me that if he could choose a girl name, it would be Martha and that he would choose Oddvar for a boy. He did name his favourite car Claudia tho, so maybe he likes it. 
Mother and dad love the names they gave to us. Mom also loves Claudia, Daphne, Sylvia and Eleanor (we have the same taste). And they both love George for a boy.
My younger sister loves Arthur, Caius and Emilia/ Emily (but she thinks it’s too popular)
My youngest sister loves Elayda/ Aleida and Caius/ Cy/ Caiden.
My cousin loves Daisy, Jasmine, Vanessa, Cordelia and Tristan.

She told me if she could’ve named (I’m adopted, so I guess renamed) me, it would have been [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. She said, too, if she had a girl and didn’t adopt, then she would name a daughter [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. She likes more traditional names.
