[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts:
Girls-
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]-This is gorgeous. I really like how you spelled [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. It looks way prettier than [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f], in my opinion. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is quirky & retro sounding, & I love love the nn [name_f]Livy[/name_f].
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]-I just can’t get into [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I know it’s a nice bird name, but it just doesn’t sound feminine enough to me. It’s not a bad name though by any means.
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]-So sweet! I kind of prefer [name_f]Thea[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Anthea[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] or [name_f]Theodora[/name_f]…or even [name_f]Althea[/name_f]. But this combination is so lovely.
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]-Aw, I love [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. It’s my dog’s mn (fn [name_f]Fiona[/name_f].) Dh wanted her first name to be [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], but as she’s grown up she’s way more of a stoic [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] rather than a spunky [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is fun & cheery. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is not my style; sort of tragic sounding.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]-This is cute. I see [name_f]Margot[/name_f] so very often on these boards that I’m wondering if it’s getting sort of common. I love [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] too. This combination is not my favorite, because I’m really picking about too may ‘r’ sounds.

Boys-
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]-I like it! Very masculine & classic, but [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] sounds like such a nice guy. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is on my long list; [name_m]Sol[/name_m] was my great grandfather. Such a cool name.
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]August[/name_u]-I love it. What a great combination. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is so so so popular though. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like the nn [name_m]Hank[/name_m]? [name_m]Hank[/name_m] is a great rough & tumble boy name, & a [name_m]Henry[/name_m] nn [name_m]Hank[/name_m] would set him apart.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Reggie[/name_u]-[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is cool. Kind of artsy. Easy enough to say & spell, but not over done. Is [name_u]Reggie[/name_u] an honor name? It doesn’t seem to flow the best here.
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]-[name_m]Levi[/name_m] is a good solid name. It doesn’t sparkle as much.
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]-[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] is adorable. Fun & dashing. I love the nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u] too (my kitty’s name…)
. [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] is not my favorite (although I love my nephew’s name, [name_m]Malachy[/name_m]. Go figure), but this combination flows nicely.
