peter is my number 1 boys name, and these are both perfect, i also love pete, and pj if you use a j middle

They’re both super cute! I find [name_m]Patch[/name_m] marginally more adorable so I picked that, even though I think I would expect [name_m]Patch[/name_m] to be short for [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] before [name_m]Peter[/name_m].
I adore both but I think [name_m]Patch[/name_m] makes slightly more sense 
@hannahhh-I don’t love PJ that much, but I do love [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Julian[/name_u] if you’re looking for a PJ combo.
@greyblue-Me too. I used to be all about [name_m]Patch[/name_m], but I’m really loving both recently & can’t decide!
@oregano7-I love [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] nn [name_m]Patch[/name_m] too, & it does make more sense. I have a nephew named [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] though.
@EllieWilbury -They both barely make sense, but they’re so fun! At least [name_m]Patch[/name_m] has the ‘t’ though, so I agree.

Oh gosh they’re both so sweet! I really can’t decide. Maybe wait and see if the child in question seems more like a [name_u]Pip[/name_u] or a [name_m]Patch[/name_m]?
[name_u]True[/name_u], I think a [name_u]Pip[/name_u] & a [name_m]Patch[/name_m] would be sort of different! It’s for a hypothetical child anyway. And my real life husband probably hates both. 
[name_m]Ah[/name_m], I see! That is completely fair. Well, the beauty of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] is that there are other nicknames too, in theory should this hypothetical child become a real-life child, I’m sure your real-life husband could go with a nickname he liked (or just Peter), while you could still get your Pip/Patch as a pet name
