Which Nickname Should I Go By?

Hey! My name is [name_f]Megan[/name_f], and I’ve gone by [name_f]Megan[/name_f] for [name_u]FOREVER[/name_u]!!! I’ve been having this “Should I Change My Name?” stage a lot lately, but I don’t know if I should or not. I want to be an author, but I don’t want [name_f]Megan[/name_f] [name_f]Atherton[/name_f] to be written on the cover. I’ve been thinking of using/shortening my middle name, [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but I’m not sure. What do you think?

Well, it might be a bit of a stretch, but what about [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]? After all, [name_f]Megan[/name_f] means “[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]”.

I think you should use [name_f]Elle[/name_f]. [name_f]Elle[/name_f] [name_f]Atherton[/name_f] sounds like a good author/pen name. Maybe you could use [name_f]Megan[/name_f] for family and close friends and [name_f]Elle[/name_f] for everyone else?
