[name]Hi[/name]! Longtime Nameberry lurker, first time posting in the forum. We have narrowed our girl name choices down to six combinations. All first and middle name options are family names. I’d love to hear which are your favorites and why. Thanks!
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Reece[/name], I love that. I really have a soft spot for [name]Caroline[/name], one of my favorites lately has been [name]Carolena[/name]. [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Reece[/name] is my favorite off that list, though [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] rolls off the tongue a bit better- I think.
I love all your first names! I slightly prefer [name]Caroline[/name], followed by [name]Sara[/name]. I think [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Reece[/name] and [name]Sara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] are my favorites. Have you considered [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]? I think that would be stunning!
[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Sara[/name] - [name]Elizabeth[/name] is a beautiful classic that gives you so many nickname options that she could make it her own, from the classic [name]Lizzy[/name], [name]Libby[/name], [name]Elle[/name], [name]Ellie[/name], [name]Beth[/name], to the quirky Busy, [name]Birdie[/name], [name]Liza[/name], [name]Betty[/name], [name]Betsy[/name] etc. [name]Sara[/name] is another classic name I love, although I prefer [name]Sarah[/name] but I think [name]Sara[/name] is great if it’s a family name. [name]Do[/name] you pronounce [name]Sara[/name] the same as [name]Sarah[/name]? I ask because here in the UK we don’t so I want to be sure I’m saying it right.
[name]Sara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] - love [name]Sara[/name] as much as [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Pearl[/name] is a beautiful vintage choice with plenty of personality.
So basically I like both these choices equally, [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Sara[/name] is the purely classic and sophisticated option, and [name]Sara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is the sassy, vintage and energetic option.
Thanks for the great feedback! Yes, we pronounce [name]Sara[/name] the same as [name]Sarah[/name]. The spelling without the H seems to be more common in the Southeast U.S., which is where I’m from and where my grandmother [name]Sara[/name] (the inspiration for the choice) is from. I also prefer [name]Reece[/name] with a S instead of C, but it’s my mother-in-law’s maiden name and my husband wants to be true to that spelling.
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is one we hadn’t considered, but I think I really like that!
[name]Sara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is my favorite from your list, but I think the suggestion of [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is also really pretty!
I like [name]Sara[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] best, followed by [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Reece[/name]. [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is lovely too.
My partner’s name is [name]Sarah[/name], but I actually like the [name]Sara[/name] spelling better!
