  • Piper Birdie : 11 (17%)
  • Sadie Wren: 45 (70%)

All three are fine names. I voted for [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] because it fits in well with popular names without being overly popular or overused. It’s classic and pretty.

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] was a close second, but I prefer it used on a boy as [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is cute but not a substantial enough for me.

I prefer the middle [name_u]Wren[/name_u].

[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] wins! I get the image of a chocolate-covered peanut butter bird for [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is way too descriptive. [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is cute for a nn but it’s too infantile to take seriously enough to enter it on an official birth certificate.

Definitely [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]!

I like [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] quite a lot, and then I realized why–I went to college with a girl with that exact name! FN [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], LN [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I still think it’s a really cool combo, though. I like [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] much more than [name_u]Reese[/name_u] and [name_u]Piper[/name_u], even though they are nice.

Good luck!

I don’t like the name Sadie at all. It sounds like sad and die or Sadist. I know a Sadie teased and called Sadie the sadist. Also it is number 50 so way overexposed. Getting more so with Duck Dynasty. Wren is nice though. Use that for the first name as Piper and Reese are a bit so so as well.

What about Ruby, Bebe, Minnie, Opal, Goldie or Pearl?

I like [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] but too me it is too close to [name_u]Seth[/name_u] & [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], [name_u]Seth[/name_u]/[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]/[name_u]Wren[/name_u]. With your boys I’m loving [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].

[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is beautiful and spunky. I also love [name_u]Piper[/name_u] but not too fond of [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]?

I also voted [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. It’s cute and the best out of the three, but I still don’t love it. I do, however, love your sons’ names.

I’m really don’t get the [name_u]Reese[/name_u] trend for girls. [name_u]Reese[/name_u] Witherspoon inspired people to think it was “cute” to use on a girl and then it took off from there. I just don’t get it. It reminds me of the peanut butter cup and it ruined [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] for me, which is a shame.

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is a name on my own list. I love how fun and spunky it is. What turns me off is it being paired with [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]. As someone else said, it does sound too descriptive. It sounds like a cartoon character or something. I think it would be a cruel joke to have an actual person with that name. I like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] paired with a classic, longer name (i.e. [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], etc.).

The thing is, I am really liking the idea of [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] as the middle name to honor your grandmother. I just think that means the first name needs to be longer and/or more definitively feminine. It could still be shortened to a quirky nickname, though. I would also probably stay away from ‘P’ names if you’re going to use [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] since P and B sound so similar.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] ([name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], Lo)

I voted for [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I love the idea of [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] in the middle after your grandmother, but unfortunately I’m not a fan of [name_u]Piper[/name_u] or [name_u]Reese[/name_u].
