[name_m]Craven[/name_m] is a terrible name (means cowardly), and next to [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] the parents seem too literary but not sensible enough!

[name_m]Moody[/name_m] is also a terrible name; I wouldn’t like [name_u]Rudy[/name_u] and [name_f]Trudy[/name_f], but with [name_m]Moody[/name_m] it seems horrid.

[name_f]Tiffany[/name_f], [name_m]Cash[/name_m], [name_u]Royce[/name_u] and [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] is too tackily and relentlessly themed.

[name_f]Mauve[/name_f], [name_u]Cerulean[/name_u], [name_u]Gray[/name_u] and [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] are eyeroll-worthy together, but each is wearable (though [name_u]Cerulean[/name_u] only barely). [name_m]Brown[/name_m] is awful, and tips the whole sibset to the absurd.

I chose [name_m]Charles[/name_m], [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] & [name_f]Brandy[/name_f] as the worst. The other lists are cringe worthy (the colours, the lux labels/brands, the rhyming names!) but giving 1 child such a standout/different style of name is awful [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

Since siblings don’t travel in packs throughout their lifetime, I would first worry about individual bad names.

For example, [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Paul[/name_m], and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] may be unimaginative and suggest a love of a particular folk group but all of the names are solid on their own.

For that reason, I think [name_m]Craven[/name_m] and [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] is the worst pair up there. Naming a child [name_m]Craven[/name_m] is cruel. [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] is not a name I would want but at least she could go be [name_f]Polly[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and drop the other part of her name.

Equally bad is [name_u]Rudy[/name_u], [name_f]Trudy[/name_f], and [name_m]Moody[/name_m]. The rhyming pattern sounds silly but, again, I find it cruel to name a child [name_m]Moody[/name_m] which has a negative connotation.

Really? Out of all the crappy sibset names, you choose that?

[name_m]Craven[/name_m] and [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] are indeed the worst. [name_m]Craven[/name_m] is a word meaning “coward” and [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] is a pejorative term for an overly optimistic individual. [name_u]Rudy[/name_u], [name_f]Trudy[/name_f] and [name_m]Moody[/name_m] are also horrible.

[name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]. It is because they are basically the same name.

All are cringe-worthy for different reasons.

[name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] - the same name equals a lack of imagination
[name_m]Charles[/name_m], [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and [name_f]Brandy[/name_f] - this sibset says to me that “the girl didn’t deserve a classic name and timeless name so instead we’ll give her a cutesy alcoholic beverage name that wouldn’t age well”
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_m]Jed[/name_m] - [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m] lost his way! They are one of the least cringe-worthy sibsets.
[name_m]Craven[/name_m] and [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] - A coward and an optimist?
[name_f]Jill[/name_f], [name_m]Joe[/name_m], [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] and [name_u]Jean[/name_u] - we forgot all other letters of the alphabet
[name_u]Rudy[/name_u], [name_f]Trudy[/name_f] and [name_m]Moody[/name_m] - we really love matchy names and the sound of “u”
[name_f]Tiffany[/name_f], [name_m]Cash[/name_m], [name_u]Royce[/name_u] and [name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] - we’re naming our kids after things we’ll never have or places we’ll never be able to shop in.
[name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] - solid names but together they’re a folk group. The least cringe worthy!
[name_m]Sven[/name_m], [name_m]Federico[/name_m], [name_m]Pablo[/name_m], [name_m]Aristotle[/name_m] or [name_m]Pierre[/name_m] - parents liked names with European flair but couldn’t decide what culture they liked best OR a VERY multi-cultural heritage
[name_f]Mauve[/name_f], [name_u]Cerulean[/name_u], [name_u]Gray[/name_u], [name_m]Brown[/name_m] and [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] - we love colouring with Crayola crayons! These names would be ok for middles but for it’s overkill on the colours for first names.

I chose [name_m]Charles[/name_m], [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and [name_f]Brandy[/name_f]; not because the other incredibly tacky sibsets were better, but because I loathe the name [name_f]Brandy[/name_f] beyond reason : )

are the tackiest.
