Which of these is your favorite? (Alice, Charlotte, Eva, Margaret)

I’m contemplating these combos. Any thoughts?

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] (or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], maybe)

All of the first names are our four grandmothers’ first names (mine and my partner’s). I think they complement each other very nicely.

Thank you.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is gorgeous! All are lovely names (though I personally don’t prefer [name_f]Althea[/name_f] or [name_f]Virginia[/name_f].) They would all make great sister names:)

I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] the best, I think it has a really nice flow and sound to it - however I’m not a huge fan of the middle name [name_f]Virginia[/name_f].

They are all beautiful. I adore [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

They’re all gorgeous.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] - [name_f]Alice[/name_f] isn’t one of my favourite names, but this combo is beautiful. I really love the contrast of the two names.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] - both very popular, but I can appreciate the grace in this pairing. They sound perfect together.

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Eva[/name_f], and there’s something very elegant and black-and-white-film-star-ish about [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]; I think of a poised, beautiful woman with carefully arranged hair and a [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] dress. This whole combo just strikes a perfectly balanced, classy, and feminine note for me.

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] - I quite like [name_f]Althea[/name_f], though I much prefer [name_f]Alethea[/name_f]. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Alethea[/name_f] sounds better than [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] to my ears. I think it’s a nice combo, though - quite stately and sweet-serious, yet utterly appropriate for a small girl. And oh, I do love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] . . .

My overall favourite combo, ignoring my fn preferences, is [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f].

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] (or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], maybe)

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] are pretty names, but not personally my style. They are a little too up-and-coming common/trendy in my eyes, as is [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I adore the middle name [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is just so classic. I’m a huge fan of [name_f]Evie[/name_f] which I think is a perfect nick name.

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is not my style either, it’s just a little too vintage for me and borders on boring imho. With that said, I do like [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] better.

Of these all, I think [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] would be my first favorite, followed by [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]. All very classic/vintage/lovely choices.

I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]!

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is so beautiful! Sophisticated yet fun and spunky.

All four are lovely!

Are you a nickname person? If so, I’d vote for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], because [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] has a ton of great nicknames to choose from: [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Peggy[/name_f], [name_f]Meg[/name_f], etc.

I also love [name_f]Eva[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] with the nickname [name_u]Charlie[/name_u].

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] is gorgeous, although I’m not so fond of [name_u]Allie[/name_u], which would be the obvious nickname. I like Lissy better, but it’s also a bit more of a stretch. I grew up with a lot of Allisons called [name_u]Allie[/name_u] and Melissas called Lissy, so I think those nicknames just don’t sound fresh to me. But I do like the name [name_f]Alice[/name_f]!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is absolutely stunning.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] or [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is my pick, followed closely by [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f].

I really like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] - vintage & sweet

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] - At least where I am, it’s like you just grabbed two names from the top 5 and stuck them together. I’d prefer a different middle since [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] seems like the honour name right?

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] - the most modern feeling combo I think. I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f].

[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] (or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f], maybe) - I’d go for [name_f]Althea[/name_f]!!

I agree that these all make beautiful sister names! [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is my absolute favorite of the bunch (I adore [name_f]Eva[/name_f]!), but [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] comes in as an easy second. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] are nice–I just don’t love them as much as I love [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. (For what it’s worth, I’d love to see [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f], and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f]/[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f], but your combos are beautiful, too! I have this thing for [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f], I suppose…) I’d love to meet a little [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]/[name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

Good luck!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is so sweet

We had very similar tastes! We are naming our daughter [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] after my mother. Her name is [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. I really love charlotte and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] too. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] would be my least favorite but it’s still very beautiful

I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], and I agree, the names all fit beautifully

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] is my favorite!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] with [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as a close second
