I have [name_m]Crew[/name_m] [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m] as a GP name. [name_m]Crew[/name_m] has special meaning for us. I would use [name_m]Crew[/name_m] or [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] as first names. [name_u]Harbor[/name_u], Maritime, Nautilus, and [name_u]Lake[/name_u] I can see being used as middle names. I do not know if I personally would. I would not use a title name; [name_m]Captain[/name_m], [name_m]Skipper[/name_m], and [name_m]Admiral[/name_m].
I agree most are too wordy and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is the only “legit” name; however, I am kind of drawn to [name_m]Crew[/name_m]. It’s a little yuppy though. Very [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] League, Hamptons, sailboating type (and obviously crew) crowd. But it’s still kind of cool.
I like the suggestion of [name_m]Piers[/name_m]. I agree a title name is a little too much.
What about [name_u]River[/name_u]? Or [name_u]Kai[/name_u]?
I forgot to mention that I have a friend with a son named [name_m]Boston[/name_m]. When she first told me that she was choosing that name, I was honestly mortified. It sounded absurd to me. However, two years later, I think it works.
On this list, I like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Crew[/name_m], and [name_u]Harbor[/name_u], but [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is the only one I would use for a name. What about adding Mariner, [name_m]Oceanus[/name_m], and [name_u]Kai[/name_u]?
I totally agree. I can’t imagine calling my son [name_m]Admiral[/name_m] or [name_m]Crew[/name_m]. [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], on the other hand, is a beautiful name!
1 [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] - memorable
2 [name_u]Harbor[/name_u] -nautical
3 [name_m]Boston[/name_m] - only if the place holds some significance for you
I love [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Boston[/name_m] and [name_m]Crew[/name_m]. I also like [name_u]Kai[/name_u], [name_u]River[/name_u], [name_m]Cove[/name_m] and [name_m]Piers[/name_m], which I think were already suggested. What about [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]? It’s pretty common compared to your other names, but it means “son of the sea” which I find really sweet.
