Okay, me again! DD is 2 weeks from today, but really could go at any time. Having some strong contractions now! We have a list for this baby #9, boy #7, from my likes, hubby’s likes, and our kids’ likes.
I like [name_u]Jude[/name_u] best for you - it really fits with your other kids names which are very familiar and classic yet relatively uncommon. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]Archer[/name_u], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]River[/name_u] & [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]Golden[/name_u] are really nice.
I think Sweet Tweet is perfect! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list are
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u]
[name_u]Cruz[/name_u]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] works because of [name_u]Ezra[/name_u], [name_u]Spenser[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. [name_u]River[/name_u] because of [name_u]Ezra[/name_u], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] and [name_u]Jonah[/name_u]. [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] because of [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Kai[/name_u] because of [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]. Good luck and wonderful names, btw!
Your sibset is outstanding by the way First two things that came to mind we’re [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] [name_u]Golden[/name_u] “[name_u]Reggie[/name_u]” & [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] “[name_m]Alec[/name_m]”
I really love [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_u]Archer[/name_u] for you! I like that [name_u]Archer[/name_u] would have his own initial.
Cruz and [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] are a bit last-namey for my taste ([name_m]Cohen[/name_m] is a bit contentious as a first name too unless you are Jewish?)
Sweet tweet is an adorable suggestion from your four year old!
You’ve done a great job so far of mostly avoiding replicated initials having a big family. So to continue with that I am going to suggest my favourites of the names which initials haven’t yet been used by the other children:
Yes, I like the idea of this baby having his own initial. It is easier for calendaring, chore charts, marking water bottles, etc. We have [name_u]Jonah[/name_u] and [name_m]Jiles[/name_m] and do [name_u]Jo[/name_u] and Ji for them. Could do Ju if it was [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. We are not Jewish and I don’t know the connection with [name_m]Cohen[/name_m]… ??
If you click on the name [name_m]Cohen[/name_m] and read the nameberry entry it sheds a little light! Basically it’s a Jewish royalty name and it can be considered offensive by some to use it.
As much as I love Sweet Tweet, I don’t think it will grow into adult hood with your new LO.
On a more serious note, I like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] for your little boy.
Sawyer strikes me a bit close to [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u] a bit close to [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is my favourite for you, [name_u]Beckett[/name_u] would be my second choice. Your children have beautiful names!
