Which of these names do you like best?

I’ve narrowed down my huge list to these names, which ones do you all like the most? Siblings names are Claudia Joanne, Odessa Mae, and Carter Eli. Last name starts with a B and is two syllables. I’ll also take any suggestions in addition to these, or any combination of what I’ve got! Family names off the list are (Susan)na, Elizabeth, Natalia, Edward, and Henry, but it’s not super important to me to use a family name.

For a girl:
Ophelia Claire
Ivy Susanna
Eden Elizabeth
Natalia Jade
Eliana Quinn
Violet Ella
Stella Eden

For a boy:
Lane Edward
Emerson Reid
Elias Henry

my favorites with [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] are [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] and Ophelia!! [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] both feel unique yet recognizable and sophisticated, and both [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] have that same feeling for me. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_u]Eden[/name_u] feel a little too short and simple to fit perfectly with [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] is a lot more popular and trendy than [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] are a combination of the two: a little too short and a little too popular to fit exactly right. For a boy, I think [name_u]Elias[/name_u] works best with [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. Best of luck on picking a name :slightly_smiling_face:

Here are my thoughts on the lists:

Girls-

[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] Claire-I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. I feel like it’s a bit dark & dramatic, but it’s not a bad name at all. And I do like it a lot w/your sibling set. Evens out the initials. :grin:

[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] Susanna-Ivy is another name that I don’t personally love the sound it, but it’s a nice name none the less. It’s spunky & vintage & pretty cute w/your crew. I really do like the combo of [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Susanna[/name_f]. I actually like [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] as a fn for you.

[name_u]Eden[/name_u] Elizabeth-Ooh, I like it. I didn’t used to care or [name_u]Eden[/name_u], but it’s growing on me lately. It feels polished & serene. It feels like it fits w/Claudia, [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] & [name_u]Carter[/name_u] really well. And the alliteration of [name_u]Eden[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is lovely.

[name_f]Natalia[/name_f] Jade-Not a huge fan. It kind of feels like [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] to me, in that it’s just a little…serious, maybe? But again, it’s not unpleasant & totally fits in. I really prefer just [name_f]Talia[/name_f]. What do you think of that?

[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] Quinn-Eliana is very pretty. I feel like it’s a little bit frou-frou next to [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Odessa[/name_f]. And it’s a bit more popular as well, if that’s a concern for you. I like it though. Plus the nns [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] & [name_f]Ani[/name_f]. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is kind of meh & masculine in my opinion. Maybe [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]?

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] Ella-Aw, I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I think that it works pretty good w/Claudia, [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] & [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. It’s also pretty popular, but a sweet vintage classic too.

[name_f]Stella[/name_f] Eden-That’s gorgeous. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] w/your sibling set, although also a bit more common. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Estella[/name_f]? I love [name_f]Estella[/name_f] [name_u]Eden[/name_u] for you.

Boys-

[name_u]Lane[/name_u] Edward-I like this. It feels gentle & kind but also smart & put together. It feels a slightly different style from [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], but actually [name_u]Carter[/name_u] & [name_u]Lane[/name_u] are pretty great for brothers.

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] Reid-Hm. I don’t mind it, but [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] is so annoyingly popular for girls I wouldn’t do it. It’s all boy to me.

[name_u]Elias[/name_u] Henry-Oh, that’s very handsome. Super cute w/your crew as well.

By chance have you thought of using [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f], I think these flow great too !! As well I also like [name_u]Lane[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m] but [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_u]Lane[/name_u] flows better in my opinion!

Thanks for breaking down your opinion of each name! Talia/Thalia actually was one on my list that I liked alot. [name_f]Estella[/name_f] doesn’t sit right with me, solely because I associate it with the character in [name_m]Charles[/name_m] Dickens “Great Expectations”, her character is an hurtful little brat.

I actually didn’t name [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], they are my step babies, but I do like their names. [name_u]Carter[/name_u] is mine and I named had/named him before they came into my life. Although [name_u]Carter[/name_u] is a different style of name than [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], I do want the name of their future sibling(s) to relatively flow. If I have a boy it will definitely be either [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_u]Lane[/name_u] [name_m]Edward[/name_m]! Thanks for your input!

Haha, [name_f]Estella[/name_f] is a brat! But that’s also why I love the name, because her character is also kind of mysterious & romantic. :grin:

I love [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m], but I don’t know if the similarity between [name_u]Elias[/name_u] and [name_u]Eli[/name_u] bothers you? It could be a sweet connection between siblings.

Another vote for [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] for a girl (prefer it with the H, especially with a short name like Ivy) and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] for a boy.

[name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is also handsome.

I like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f] a lot! I also think [name_u]Lane[/name_u] flows better as a middle name, but I’m dead set on having it at a first name haha.
