Which of these names do you like the best ? Thanks nameberries!

Which of these names do you like the most, 2 of them are aboriginal names which reflect our heritage. Could you rank them or tell me your good/bad opinions on them. thanks!!!”
The names are, Allira (ah-leer-ah), [name_u]Echo[/name_u] and Jedda

[name_u]Echo[/name_u] and Allira are both great in totally different ways! Allira is melodious and pretty while [name_u]Echo[/name_u] is more edgy and modern-sounding.

Jedda looks good written down, but said out loud it kind of sounds like someone with a cold trying to say [name_f]Jenna[/name_f]. I’d pick one or both of the other two.

I think Allira is very appealing, though it’s new to me! Easy to remember even if it requires asking for spelling or repeating.
I think [name_u]Echo[/name_u] is a great name, but I’ve always thought of it for a boy. Gender-neutral names are more and more common these days, however, so don’t let my opinion stop you.
Jedda just makes me think of [name_m]Jedi[/name_m] and Jabba the hutt mixed together, so it’s a name I personally cannot get on board with. Not that there’s anything wrong with star wars… just doesn’t sound right to me. I do know someone named “[name_m]Jetty[/name_m]” but I think the difference between the double T vs. the double D makes it more delicate.

Sorry if I don’t sound more supportive! I just wanted to be genuine with my feedback and mean no offense. I do not think any of them are terrible or cruel, if that helps

I love Allira, such a nice sound - would make a great name!
Jedda does remind me of the planet Jedha in [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars… Though it’s a shame to inflict english connotations to a cultural name & I feel bad for thinking that way, unfortunately that’s a reality…
I like [name_u]Echo[/name_u]'s edginess, though I’m not particularly fond of edgy names as a first name personally, I’d love it in the middle though.

Allira is beautiful!

I love Allira (but spelled Alira)! I hadn’t heard of it until two years ago but now I’m completely in love. I think Jedda sounds edgy, cool, and fresh but it also reminds me of [name_m]Jedi[/name_m] from the [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars movies. But that’s not necessary a bad thing. I’m not a fan of [name_u]Echo[/name_u].

I love Allira, like [name_u]Echo[/name_u] as a middle and don’t care about Jedda (reminds me to either [name_m]Jedi[/name_m] or the city Jeddah).

Allira is gorgeous! I think it needs added to the nameberry name list!

[name_u]Echo[/name_u] is my favorite followed up by Allira

**1. [name_u]Echo[/name_u]
2. Allira
3. Jedda

I completely agree.

Allira ! That tops the list for me!

Allira is lovely! Definitely the one.

Allira [name_u]Echo[/name_u] or [name_u]Echo[/name_u] Allira make great combos!

The most beautiful one is Allira, [name_u]Echo[/name_u] is nice but probably would sound better on a boy. Jedda sounds like it’s from [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars

Coming from an Australian point of view like the OP I think all the names are good and work well. The classic Australian movie Jedda gives this name a real strength and possibility, and I immediately think of this film and character rather than any other connections. I think Jedda is strong and interesting.

I have come across a little [name_u]Echo[/name_u] and thought this name is gorgeous in a sweet and quirky way. Allira comes up occasionally in Aus and is attractive and stylish. It’s probably the safest choice, however I think they’re all good. Personally I’d go with Jedda.

I like Allira the best. It has a nice sound and I think it will age well. I don’t like [name_u]Echo[/name_u] as a first name, maybe a middle.
