I much prefer [name]Amelie[/name], I find it really pretty while I find all the [name]Juli[/name]- names a bit dated, sorry. [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] is gorgeous. I wouldn’t use [name]Julianne[/name] [name]Amelie[/name] because of the flow, it might sound like she’s called [name]Julianna[/name] if you call both names together.
I really like both names – they are both on my long list. Ultimately I find [name]Julianne[/name] a tiny bit more awkward to say, so if I had to pick I would choose [name]Amelie[/name]. I like [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Julianne[/name].
I like [name]Amelie[/name] best (although I say it ah-MILL-ee, which I think is different from you). I’m not terribly crazy about any of your combos, sorry, but I do like the idea of [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Juliana[/name], though.
[name]AH[/name]-mil-lee is just the anglicized version of the French pronunciation ([name]AH[/name]-meh-lee or [name]AH[/name]-may-lee) But they are too similar to really know the difference.
That’s okay… Any MN suggestions? I will add that to my post above, because I intended on some opinions by the blanks
I really prefer [name]Julianne[/name]. It’s ironic because [name]Julianne[/name] is a shorter form of [name]Julianna[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] is a shorter form of [name]Amelia[/name], but I really don’t like [name]Amelie[/name]. I feel like [name]Amelie[/name] will be mispronounced often, and personally My first urge was to just prn it like [name]Amelia[/name] without the last syllable. Like a-meel-ee with stress on the meel instead Of the first syllable.
I prefer [name]Amelie[/name] as a first name. [name]Julianne[/name] is a bit “dated” to me and I don’t find it particularly French either (your spelling makes it more of a smoosh of [name]Julie[/name] and [name]Anne[/name]. [name]Julie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name] or [name]Julienne[/name] would “look” more French). [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] is pretty.
[name]Amelie[/name] by a mile! [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] is my favorite combo. I also like the suggestions of [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Juniper[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Claudette[/name].
I like [name]Julianne[/name] [name]Amelie[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]. Really no preference between the two, they’re both very pretty.
I really like both names, but I think I like [name]Amelie[/name] just a little more. And I think [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Julianne[/name] sounds good together! I also like [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Mauve[/name], but for some other suggestions for MNs that are all French names, how about…
