DH and I are slowly continuing to whittle down our list of names for our baby girl that is due in ~5 weeks. Given how much we’ve struggled, I thought I’d try a new tactic to see if that provides any additional insight.

Which of the below names best brings to mind a somewhat fierce, intelligent, willful, and spunky girl. If appearance factors into your decision, she’ll most likely be fairly petite, with dark wavy to curly hair, bright green eyes, and fairly pale skin that tans easily.

[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] immediately jumped out at me! I adore it, and it really fits the description you gave. I think that it would be perfect!

[name_f]Lyra[/name_f] is so perfect! Feminine, mythological and strong. Can’t go wrong!

I think [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] & [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] are my top two out of those.

I adore the name [name_f]Lola[/name_f]! I think it fits the discription well. The best fit would be [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. I think [name_u]Scout[/name_u] would be accurate as well.

[name_f]Greer[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are the 2 standouts that fit that description for me. Both are fantastic names. I also like [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and that also works.
The 2 names that I dislike and think don’t fit at all are [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] and [name_f]Lola[/name_f].

It sounds like the overwhelming majority feel that either [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Lyra[/name_f] are the best fit which is very interesting to me as I see them as giving off vastly different vibes.

I especially want to think those of you who provided which names you thought really didn’t fit (bonus points for an explanation why), as that’s super helpful in determining how other people view individual names.
