I don’t care for [name_f]Perdita[/name_f] or [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], but [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] is so neat! I picked [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] of the FNs. [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] makes me think of the centre-right [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] Fáil party in the Republic of [name_f]Ireland[/name_f] and I’ve never encountered it as a person’s name so I’m not sure how I feel about it. [name_f]Perdita[/name_f] doesn’t appeal to me in sound or meaning, but I do like [name_f]Margo[/name_f].
With all that said, I’d say [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] has the best flow.
Oh thanks for pointing this out. I was aware of [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] Fal as a party but hadn’t made the connection. I’m pretty removed from southern Irish politics so maybe not the best idea. I was using it as a word name but may have to consider. It’s just so pretty!!!
I’m also most fond of [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f], but don’t like the political connection.
Maybe try @ashthedreamer’s Fiala? Or Phaenna, [name_f]Fiamma[/name_f], [name_f]Vienna[/name_f], [name_f]Vevina[/name_f], Vianney? They don’t have the same Celtic feel of [name_f]Fianna[/name_f], but they’re close in sound.
[name_f]Fauna[/name_f], [name_f]Fenella[/name_f], [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] have more the feel of [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] to me, and they’re pretty close in sound as well.
There’s also Vieno, but she’s not for everyone…
I like [name_f]Fianna[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] the best. I’ve been to [name_f]Ireland[/name_f], but didn’t realize that name has political undertones. I associate it will [name_u]Fionn[/name_u] mac Cumhaill ([name_u]Finn[/name_u] MacCool) and the [name_f]Fianna[/name_f], his band of warriors in Irish mythology (they’re similar to [name_m]King[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and the Knights of the Round Table).
