Which of these two do you prefer, and why?

([name]Will[/name] is our last name, first son is [name]John[/name])

[name]Daniel[/name] [name]Will[/name]
[name]Nathan[/name] [name]Will[/name]

We like [name]Danny[/name] and [name]Dan[/name] better as nicknames, but think that the Ls are too much or hard to pronounce in the full name [name]DanieL[/name] [name]WiLL[/name]. It might even sound like Dan-ya Will when said quickly?

We like the full name [name]Nathan[/name] better with our last name, but don’t like [name]Nate[/name] quite as much as [name]Danny[/name].

What do you like and dislike about each name? And which do you prefer?

I actually like [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Will[/name] better flow wise, but not so keen on [name]Daniel[/name]. [name]Nathan[/name] is OK, but I think [name]Nathaniel[/name] would be great. Cute little combination of both of your favourites as well.

I like both names! I do think [name]Nathan[/name] [name]Will[/name] flows better but [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Will[/name] doesn’t sound too bad.

[name]Daniel[/name] [name]Will[/name] for me! I think stylistically [name]John[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name] work together really well, and if he goes by the nn [name]Dan[/name]/[name]Danny[/name], I would think he’d be more often known as [name]Danny[/name] [name]Will[/name] rather than [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Will[/name], unless you don’t plan on using nns very often. I did notice the repetitive "L"s when I saw both names, but I love [name]Daniel[/name] so much that it doesn’t even bother me. I absolutely love the name [name]Daniel[/name], and love meeting them… It’s such a classic, handsome name.

Good luck!

i prefer [name]Nathan[/name] [name]Will[/name]. I like [name]Nathan[/name] better partly because it’s less common. I knew a [name]Nathan[/name] growing up and he never went by a nickname -he was just [name]Nathan[/name] -I don’t remember anyone even trying to shorten his name or calling him [name]Nate[/name] when he didn’t want to be called that. So, if you don’t like the nn, you don’t have to use it.

I like [name]Daniel[/name] as a name too, but not as much as [name]Nathan[/name].

I like [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Will[/name]. The L-endings don’t bother me, and I probably wouldn’t have noticed if it hadn’t been pointed out. [name]Dan[/name]/[name]Danny[/name] are cute nns. And I’m not really a fan of [name]Nathan[/name].
