Okay, so I’m having trouble settling on a name for my main character. I’ve narrowed it down to two names: [name]Vivian[/name] (NN [name]Vivi[/name]) or [name]Veronica[/name] (NN [name]Ronnie[/name]) but I can’t decide which I like best for her. She was born in 1987 and has two older sisters named [name]Rhiannon[/name] and [name]Karris[/name], if that’s any help. I just need you other berries to help me decide!!!
[name]Vivian[/name] because [name]Veronica[/name] reminds me of [name]Miley[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name]'s character in The Last Song.

I like [name]Veronica[/name], especially for someone born in the 80’s. I’ve never heard of The Last Song…
Normally, I’d say [name]Vivian[/name], but since she’s born in the 80’s then I think [name]Veronica[/name] fits better.
[name]Veronica[/name]. I don’t follow [name]Miley[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] at all. I’ve never met anyone younger than 60 named [name]Vivian[/name]
I’d go with [name]Veronica[/name] because though I personally prefer the name [name]Vivian[/name] more, [name]Veronica[/name] fits more with the time period and [name]Vivian[/name] sounds too much like [name]Rhiannon[/name] for me.
I knew a girl [name]Ronnie[/name] in choir at uni, she will have been born in 1987 
That’s the one I’d go with. I think I’d spell [name]Carys[/name] the Welsh way too though, especially with [name]Veronica[/name] and [name]Rhiannon[/name] as sisters.
See, I think of the EastEnders character who was [name]Veronica[/name] nn [name]Ronnie[/name] rather than the [name]Miley[/name] [name]Cyrus[/name] charather who I’ve never heard of. I agree with the spelling [name]Carys[/name], especially as [name]Rhiannon[/name] is in the traditional spelling.
Hmm… I like [name]Vivian[/name] better as a name in general, but for the time period I think [name]Veronica[/name] definitely fits better. However, I have a problem with the fact that [name]Veronica[/name] nn [name]Ronnie[/name] is exactly the same as The Last Song([name]Nicolas[/name] Sparks) and that’s immediately what comes to mind when I think of the name.
[name]Veronica[/name], [name]Vivian[/name]'s too old fashion for me.
