I like both names but [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] has a little more spunk to him so I prefer it! [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] is a more serious name while [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] has a lot of vibrant energy and hippy flair!
I prefer [name_m]Desmond[/name_m], for humanitarian [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] Tutu.
[name_m]Donovan[/name_m], to me, is NFL QB [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] McNabb–not that he isn’t awesome and everything, but the humanitarian reference wins for me.
sounds sexy, but then again so does [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are nice.

[name_m]Donovan[/name_m] seems more masculine, very handsome yet would be adorable on a little boy. And good nn options [name_f]IMO[/name_f]
I love [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] for very obvious reasons. It’s a great name with some great associations: [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] Tutu, [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] Dekker, [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_u]Howard[/name_u] (I’m a huge football fan), [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_m]Hume[/name_m] from Lost, [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] in the Beatles song, Ob La [name_f]Di[/name_f], and on…It’s a solid name and a recognizable name, but not common. The nickname potential is great, too. I really like that it’s an unexpected name for most people, but I always get great feedback.
I think [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] is good, too, but I have a [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] McNabb association, as well, and that isn’t super positive for me. I’d like to meet a little [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], though. It’s sweet for a little guy.

[name_m]Donovan[/name_m]! I love [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] because of LOST, but I love [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]. So handsome and charming.
