Having a hard time choosing between [name_f]Malou[/name_f], [name_f]Milou[/name_f], and [name_f]Philou[/name_f]…Any ideas which one suits better to a girly toddler?

Ooh, all very cute! I think [name_f]Malou[/name_f] feels the most “girly” to me.
I know [name_f]Philou[/name_f] is a popular girls’ name in the Netherlands (I think?) but the “[name_u]Phil[/name_u]” part is quite prominent to my eye so makes it feel more masculine.
And [name_f]Milou[/name_f] brings to mind this little guy

Philou is so sweet and adorable, and I love the meaning! I think [name_f]Malou[/name_f] suits the description you’re going for slightly better though, as it gets rid of the ‘phil’.

Philou is indeed popular over here! It sounds a bit like the combination of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_u]Louise[/name_u]! To me it is soft and cute pronounced Phie-[name_u]Lou[/name_u].
[name_f]Milou[/name_f] is even better known over here, it is an well established girl name. To me, [name_f]Milou[/name_f] is a bit stronger. We pronounce it like Me-[name_u]Lou[/name_u].
[name_f]Malou[/name_f] is pretty as wel. It is less known ( at least over here )

Malou! But I prefer the [name_f]Malu[/name_f] spelling- or maybe even [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u] or something along those lines and [name_f]Malu[/name_f] is the nickname!
