I’m looking for some input on our top choices for our little guy who is on his way this summer! We like classic names, nothing too popular or trendy and a strong, masculine name. Middle name will be [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] (family names) - thanks for your input!

You can do no wrong with such good, strong classics. I like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] best myself and the only one I’m not overly keen on is [name_m]Joe[/name_m] (I’d prefer [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Joe[/name_m]/[name_u]Joey[/name_u]’).

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is my favorite by far. I feel very neutral about [name_m]Joe[/name_m], [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is my favorite from your list. I really like the nn [name_u]Drew[/name_u] for Nadrew as well.

Out of interest, is there any particular reason for [name_m]Joe[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]?

[name_m]Joseph[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] is beautiful, in my opinion, as is [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m].

I think [name_m]Joe[/name_m]/[name_u]Joey[/name_u], [name_m]Tom[/name_m] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] are nicer names than [name_u]Andy[/name_u], [name_u]Drew[/name_u] or [name_m]Matt[/name_m], so personally I’d let that influence which were first names and which were middle names. But that’s just my taste, they are all great names and you can’t really go wrong.

I’ve really come to love [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]! [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is my favorite, with [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] ____ being my back-up. [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] doesn’t excite me too much, and since [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]'s already a family name, I wouldn’t feel like you’d need [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], too? I’m not sure what I’d suggest, though… I think something like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] or [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] or even [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] would be lovely. I really like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], though!

I agree. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is the only one I really and truly like! I don’t dislike the rest, they’re strong classic names you can’t go wrong with, but I’m neutral on them.
