I love the strength and the nickname possibilities of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]: [name_f]Coco[/name_f], [name_f]Delia[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Didi[/name_f], [name_f]Dee[/name_f].

I think both names suit what many people on Nameberry are looking for in a number of ways, but for me personally, it’s [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] all the way. [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], whiile it has grown on me, is not a favorite, and I love the richness and consonant sounds of [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].

[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] by a mile! I’ve never cared much for [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], plus I feel like everyone I know and know of is naming their daughter [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f].

[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is really nice. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] isn’t really my style - harsh, word-name, associated with a book I don’t particularly care for.

I Have a 7 year old called [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] , middle name [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. Her Nickname is [name_f]Dilly[/name_f] & we have a lot of comments on what a pretty name it is. We are also yet to meet another [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] :smiley: .

One of our other Daughters is called [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], I love the name [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] but due to its popularity we choose it as a middle name x

[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] gets my vote as I think it’s popular on nameberry but not as much in “real life”. [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] is getting pretty popular, and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] has better nickname options imo!
