My vote goes to [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]. [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] feels too dated and not that pretty. [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] sounds cute and timeless.
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f]! [name_m]Light[/name_m] rugged and fun
I voted [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]. I’m 20 from the UK, and when I was younger [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] was used as an insult for people with learning difficulties
I think both are nice, and I enjoy the childhood story associated with both.
My beloved doll that I was never without growing up I named [name_f]Wendy[/name_f], so it does have a further special meaning to me. I think [name_f]Wendy[/name_f] has such a nice, vintage, gentle and flow-y nature about it, and I enjoy that, too. That said, if does seem to be seen as quite the dated name here, and also would likely have people think of the ice-creamery of the same name.
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] is sweet and has that ‘nickname’ quality that appears to be quite popular for full names at the moment ([name_f]Indie[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]), yet feels more grounded and is just beautifully unexpected. Due to the associated story, it has Swiss mountains and valleys imagery, which makes me enjoy the name even more.
I have no idea why but I personally really dislike [name_f]Heidi[/name_f].
There’s nothing objectively wrong with it but I just can’t stand that name.
I do however like [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]. I don’t find it dated.
