@kachenka[name_f][/name_f] thank you for responding I also love the simplicity of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] especially paired with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] as they make such a pretty floral pairing.
[name_f][/name_f]
@seawillow[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] is so pretty definitely a name to add to the list she’s very you and is gorgeous! Thank you for responding
[name_f][/name_f]
@Hello1[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is gorgeous and I love both your combinations [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] feels very me however I do love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Apricity[/name_f]. I adore [name_f]Apricity[/name_f] she’s so sparkly.
[name_f][/name_f]
@taisia1[name_f][/name_f] thank you for answering so many beautiful combinations I love [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]
@Kipperbo1[name_f][/name_f] i really love both [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] so thank you.
@EdgeOfTheMeadow[name_f][/name_f] thank you for answering! I have discovered two [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names that I’ve never heard off! [name_f]Roselil[/name_f] is fun but as [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is known as Lils it’s a bit too much lil in a sibling set. [name_f]Arrosa[/name_f] is also unknown to me and I’m not sure how to pronounce her as well. Still she looks really pretty! [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is beautiful and I actually love [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] + [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] together but I agree that [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is very melodic next to [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. I agree about a lot of L’s within a sibling set containing [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] + [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] together. [name_f][/name_f]Regarding hyphenated [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names they are soooo popular where I am that I’m just not a fan of them in general but especially ones containing [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Still [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is sweet bless her. I can hear the rhyming with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] together. So yes I agree I love [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]
@shanade213[name_f][/name_f] thank you for responding so many names that have never been on my radar before I really love [name_f]Rosette[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosamond[/name_f]. [name_f]Ambrosia[/name_f] is so elegant and bold.
[name_f][/name_f]
@DCAT[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Rosenwyn[/name_f] is beautiful such a whimsy fairy name with the middle name [name_f]Faye[/name_f] just adding to the fairy flair very pretty. Thank you for responding.
[name_f][/name_f]
@miloowen[name_f][/name_f] thank you for answering! I love [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] she’s so romantic, elegant and stoic. I also love your combinations [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Fay[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] so pretty.
[name_f][/name_f]
@Etymology[name_f][/name_f] thank you for your detailed response it’s beyond appreciated I find [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] a little rhymey with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] however she is pretty. [name_f]My[/name_f] family are Ashkenazi Jewish so I find [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] a little more in keeping with my family background and I do love [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is beautiful and I think she’s lovely with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. Finally just [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely! [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Evelina[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Enid[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f] + [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
@atomicginge[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Roisin[/name_f] is a family name (my dad is Irish/Scottish) she’s very sweet and I like [name_f]Roisin[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] & [name_f]Roisin[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
I would choose [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f]I love the simple beauty of just [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is also very beautiful and it matches well with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is one of my favorites as well (and the [name_m]Dutch[/name_m] form [name_f][/name_f] Rozemarijn).
I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], it’s my favorite [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] name, and I love the added bonus of [name_f]Romy[/name_f] as a nickname. [name_f][/name_f] I adore[name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Romy[/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f] But [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] have very different vibes for me so I’m not sure I would actually use her with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]? [name_f][/name_f] I think I would be more tempted to use the frilly [name_f]Rosina[/name_f], which I think is so fun and unexpected. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] might be a bit too similar in cadence though, so I can’t decide between the two. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] would be a distant third (love it a lot, but it feels a bit clunky next to Lilia!). [name_f][/name_f] I do think the simple [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be great with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] style wise though, or even [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]!
[name_f][/name_f]
That was a lot of rambling… many rose names would work I think but [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] are my favorites.
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] would be perfect to me! They’re both 3 syllables, have a “Lee” sound, and feel elegant yet are distinct from each other. I also like [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. They give off a more “girls next door” vibe together in a very good way.
@Johannaa[name_f][/name_f] I love all three of these names! Of course I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] both [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] are lovely. [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is sugary sweet and warm a [name_f]Rose[/name_f] name that falls of the radar a little whereas [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] is gorgeous I love the connection to the sea. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f] is beautiful.
[name_f][/name_f]
@ashthedreamer[name_f][/name_f] I love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]! She’s just gorgeous such a classic and I like the connection to the sea. But I do see how they feel different. [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] is pretty but I do prefer other rose names. Whereas [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] + [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] really appeal to me they are very romantic. I love the alliteration off the middle names [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosina[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
@user10[name_f][/name_f] yay it’s nice to see that you think [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] works with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]! I do love [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. Also on another note how relevant is Rosemary’s baby association? I always worry about that!
[name_f][/name_f]
@Casea33[name_f][/name_f] thank you for responding [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is oh so [name_f]Disney[/name_f] gotta love the magical vibes!
[name_f][/name_f]
@em73[name_f][/name_f] I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f]! I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] she’s just more distinct with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] which is something I like. Your combinations are lovely [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Joan[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] [name_f]Orla[/name_f] are lovely.
I wouldn’t worry about the association, it’s such an old film and especially for their generation I highly doubt the association will effect her in any way!
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] feel the most stylisitcally similar with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] while still sounding nice when said together.
With [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], I think [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] would be the perfect matches. I love sets with similar lengths. I also love [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] but they’re quite long. To me, [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are gorgeous and harmonious.
Rose - simple, pure, elegant (and I prefer it to Rosa, Rosa hasn’t clicked for me)
Rosanna - similar pattern to Lilia, and I have loved this name for a while (it’s so happy-making)
And I like the idea of Roisin, Rosine - and even Rosaleen or Rosalenne (probably a better spelling out there - for the last, the “len” ending) - these feel fresh, sleek and a little off-beat like Lilia.
Meanwhile, I was going to call W, Rosemary and one of its benefits is the Romy nn - but I don’t like how it’s sometimes Rose-Mary and sometimes Rose-M’ree and sometimes in between. If that doesn’t bother you, then keep it on the list! I do prefer Rosanna though.
Finally, don’t forget Rosamund - Lilia & Rosamund would be so swish. Rosamund has a very refined and lovely feel.
@Estrela[name_f][/name_f] thank you for the effort you have put in to answering this question I really appreciate it. Both [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] are of course gorgeous. [name_f][/name_f]The combinations I love are [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Angelica[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] [name_f]Luz[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] [name_f]Simone[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
@EloiseT[name_f][/name_f] thank you so much for responding I really hope your well and had a lovely festive period. I love love [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f] (just on a note do you say roseanna or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] ar na terrible at breaking names down phonetically but clarity concerning that would be appreciated as I’m getting mixed responses) and I have to agree [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is beautiful.
Happy NY! I say Rose-Anna or more correctly, Ro-Zanna, with a sound between an S and a Z, and not Roze-ar-nah and for that matter, not Roz-anna.
I like Rosaline too, Rosalie’s a bit too cute for me - but not sure about an “li” Rose name with Lilia. Like the idea of different letters for them. That’s why I like Rosamund - I get it’s a bit stern next to Lilia but they sound great when you say them together and I see them as literary and rather epic as a duo. Some thoughts (but it’s late so not sure have cracked):
Rosanna Sofia Clare
Rosamund Sofia Hope
Rose Laura Christabel
Rose Eloise Cordelia (needs last name to work)
