I think [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] has the best flow. I just wanted to say it’s so cool that you’ve decided on [name_f]Pandora[/name_f]! She’s my absolute favourite name, but I’ve rarely seen anyone consider her, let alone actually use her :).
Thank you! We had this huge list of girl names but none of them felt right. I just kept searching and searching and then when watching a movie recently there was a cat in a scene briefly, named [name_f]Pandora[/name_f], and I heard it and just sighed in relief. Like, of course she’s [name_f]Pandora[/name_f]! It felt exactly the same as when my son’s name came to me in a dream ([name_m]Ezra[/name_m]).
I’ve had a [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] charm bracelet that I wear almost every day since the beginning of high school, and my husband has always been very into music so the two [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] brands don’t bother us at all.
When my husband and I first started dating we would read each other stories out of this giant encyclopedia of mythology he had and so we love that [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] comes from Greek mythology.
I like thinking that she was a curious woman and in those old days maybe the story was said more to discourage women from “not listening” and being curious but in today’s world I want a daughter to be curious and to not just listen blindly to men “in charge” so I believe it’s a great feminist name.
And finally pandas have been such an integral part of our relationship and my husband’s childhood that we’ve decided on Panda as her nickname and it’s jusy perfect. We have many subtle Panda decorations around our house, my husband and I started dating because I accidentally stole a Panda t-shirt from his house at a party and then decided to try and return it weeks later, and my husband’s mother always said his spirit animal was a Panda.
It feels like her name and her, our little Panda, have always been with us so it couldn’t feel more right ”
I generally like your middle name options, but I’m having trouble with the flow of some of them. I think [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] flows best, so it gets my vote for the two middle name options. Of the one middle name options, I like [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] better.
Another fan of [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] here! So cool to see someone ready to use it, and I love the significance it holds for you.
I think [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] has the best flow, but your [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Isabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] combos work, too. The only one I’d be hesitant to use is [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], because the back to back A’s make it a little awkward.
I love [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] too! What a gorgeous choice, and I agree that the mythology behind it is cool and rather empowering.
I really like [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f] (sounds very chic and sophisticated, like a [name_m]French[/name_m] princess or something) and [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] (warm, grounded and friendly-sounding).
