[name_m]Louis[/name_m] is Loo-ee. I would go with [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]

@mmcharlie I agree, but I had seen a lot of people prn [name_m]Louis[/name_m] Loo-iss, so I didn’t know if maybe I was being weird about it. Thanks!

this. I would pronounce all three spellings differently

If you want the loo-iss pronunciation, I would spell it [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. [name_m]Louis[/name_m] can be pronounced either loo-ee or loo-iss, but there are enough people saying it both ways that you’d have to clarify a lot.

[name_m]Louis[/name_m] is ‘Loo-ee’. If you want ‘loo-iss’ I’d go with [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]

[name_m]Luis[/name_m] is loo-EES. I’d go with one of the others if you want loo-iss.

I prefer the [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] spelling!

Everyone I know pronounces Louis as loo-iss. Disregarding that, I prefer the spelling Lewis. They’re all such handsome names!

Since you’re from the US (like me) all these spelling would most likely be pronounced the way you want. I voted for [name_m]Louis[/name_m] since I like this spelling best and I know in the US it would be pronounced loo-iss 99% of the time. [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] isn’t a bad spelling but to me it’s a surname name which I don’t personally love. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

Another vote for [name_m]Lewis[/name_m].
