I prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
I know two girls with this name (a [name_f]Macie[/name_f] and a [name_u]Macey[/name_u]) and I always struggle to remember the spelling of [name_u]Macey[/name_u]'s name. I don’t know why this is so hard for me. I can pretty easily keep track of the variations of [name_f]Megan[/name_f] and [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f], but I struggle to remember the -ey, as I also struggle with the variations of [name_u]Lindsey[/name_u].
Interesting! I’m the same with [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] and [name_f]Jemma[/name_f], can never remember who is which.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think using [name_f]Macy[/name_f] would avoid this? No "e"s
I personally don’t like the name [name_f]Macy[/name_f] for so many reasons, but [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is adorable!
I do think [name_f]Macy[/name_f] would be less frequently misspelled than [name_u]Macey[/name_u].
[name_f]Macy[/name_f] is my preferred spelling of [name_f]May[/name_f]-cee. I also love [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Macy[/name_f] is super cute! It’s been on my shortlist for a while but my husband isn’t sold on it.
Definitely prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]!
To me, [name_f]Macy[/name_f] is a department store, and I agree with pp about [name_u]Macey[/name_u]. So I voted for [name_f]Macie[/name_f].
Actually, I prefer [name_f]Marcy[/name_f] to [name_f]Macie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! It’s so sweet and adorable. I do think [name_f]Macy[/name_f] is also sweet, but it just reminds me of the department store.
I think [name_f]Macy[/name_f] is probably the best spelling, if you love this name more than [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]!
Thank you for the feedback!
I have heard of the department store but I’ve never been to one (not in NZ)
[name_f]Macy[/name_f] or [name_f]Macie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] SO much more than [name_f]Macy[/name_f] and its variants. It seems much more substantial; [name_f]Macy[/name_f] feels modern and trendy to me. Although, if there’s nothing wrong with modern and trendy if your style gravitates that way; it’s just not my preference
I prefer the name [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], but for the other name I think the [name_f]Macy[/name_f] spelling is the most recognized/established and is the spelling I like.
[name_f]Macy[/name_f] is my sister’s name. I really like the name and prefer the [name_f]Macy[/name_f] spelling. I also prefer it over [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], though [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is nice, too.
The traditional [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is still the cutest and most appealing. The other spellings actually make me think of “[name_f]Macy[/name_f]'s” department store to be honest.
I voted too quickly and chose the [name_f]Macy[/name_f] spelling, but I actually prefer [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], it’s one of my favourite names. [name_f]Macy[/name_f] would be my preference out if the [name_f]May[/name_f]-cee spellings probably because of [name_f]Macy[/name_f]’s
Personally, [name_f]Macy[/name_f] reminds me of the store, [name_f]Macy[/name_f]'s. However, if you don’t have it in your country it would be usable. I don’t really like [name_u]Macey[/name_u] but I can’t pinpoint why. My favorite is [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], it’s super cute and classic. Second would be [name_f]Macie[/name_f].
