I prefer [name_f]Isla[/name_f], though [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] would work too.

My answer always changes between [name_f]Isla[/name_f] & [name_f]Eila[/name_f], today it’s [name_f]Isla[/name_f].

Isla! It’s so easy because it’s like Island without the ending!

I actually know a little girl named [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] and its pronounced Ay-la, like [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] without the K. So to me, it’s a different name.

Well, I would say these all in different ways, but the one I like is [name_f]Isla[/name_f]. Names composed of mostly a and e and y are hard for me to remember how to spell and pronounce.

Isla is probably the only one I’d say eye-la :joy:

I’m a big fan of the island spelling: [name_f]Islay[/name_f].

Isla is very pretty too, and it’s the one I’d assume if I heard the name.

Ayla was one of my top names as a teen, so I have to go with that one! Aw I’ve honestly forgotten about this spelling. Might have to add her back to the mn list

I vote [name_f]Isla[/name_f]! Also, I don’t pronounce these all like eye-luh.

My pronunciations:

Aisla: ace-luh
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]: eye-luh
[name_f]Islay[/name_f]: eye-lay
[name_f]Eila[/name_f]: ay-luh / eye-luh (I go back and forth)
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f]: ay-luh
Aeila: ay-luh
[name_f]Aila[/name_f]: ay-luh

Isla and [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] are my favorites, though I know [name_f]Ayla[/name_f] has other pronunciations which could be confusing sometimes. [name_f]Eila[/name_f] is nice too.

I’ve always said [name_f]Islay[/name_f] as “eye-lay” but it looks like I’m wrong there :joy:
