[name_u]Luca[/name_u] is all boy to me, it would be like meeting a girl named [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_u]Ryan[/name_u].

I do think it’s masculine, but I don’t hate it. Can you tolerate [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] and pronounce it Loo-sha? It’s similar, but it’s all girl and your daughter would be named after a saint.

As for middle names, I agree with the above poster that something feminine is necessary.

[name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sounds the best to me, but I also like [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f].

I think of [name_m]Luka[/name_m] as a boy’s name. [name_u]Luca[/name_u] would be better suited as a girl’sname in my opinion.
