It depends on how you’re saying it. I’d pronounce all of those differently. I went with [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] as it’s the only one I’ve seen as a legit name.
I agree with @renrose. [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] sounds like a different name and [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] looks the most legitimate so I would go with [name_m]Quentin[/name_m].
I prefer [name_m]Quentin[/name_m].
I know two boys with this name, one is my age, and one is my sister’s age. The one I grew up with is [name_m]Quentin[/name_m], and the one my sister knew is [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] nn [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. Can’t go wrong with any spelling, but I think [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] is the best bet.
When I say them in my accent the differences are so minute that you barely notice them. When I try and force the different vowel sounds I sound very stern and British.
I’ve only seen [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] in my day-to-day life, but [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] seems to be the favored spelling on Nameberry. I would really only use [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] or [name_m]Quentin[/name_m], but I threw [name_m]Quintin[/name_m] and [name_m]Quinten[/name_m] in the poll for kicks. [name_f]My[/name_f] spell check claims [name_m]Quinten[/name_m] is not a legitimate spelling.
