Which spelling??

Can’t decide if I like the spelling of [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] better…

What do you think?

[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] for me. The cilia part makes me think of a short microscopic hair-like vibrating structure. Not everyone will think of that -in fact, I am sure I am in the minority- it’s just I remember that from biology class. If it’s [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] that you like more, don’t let y comment bothers you.

I prefer [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]! Seeing [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] makes me want to pronounce it a bit differently since I process the “[name_f]Cece[/name_f]” part first.

I prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. I dont like the [name_f]Cece[/name_f] part of [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] at all.

I don’t mind [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] but prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. It’s the more traditional spelling and is used in more languages than [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] (which to my knowledge is only used in English-speaking countries).

I prefer [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]! I don’t love the name but to me [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] looks quite stuck up (no offence to anyone with this name!!)

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] for me!

I prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]

I prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]- [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] looks awkward to me.

Another vote for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].

[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] for sure! [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] reminds me of the ‘cilia’ in the intestine used to help with digestion and reabsorbtion of nutrients before you pass your stool.

Definitely [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]!

I prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], because it’s my Saints name and I like the musical connection (though Im not actually religious). Also I like the biological link with cilia; they’re pretty interesting structures and biology’s awesome haha ;).
