[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is pronounced just like the fruit - [name_u]Clem[/name_u]-en-tine (tine rhymes with whine). I am not a fan of any of them, but [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favourite of the three.
Someone mentioned [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] nn [name_m]Lemon[/name_m] on here once and I thought it was so corny that it was cute. I also think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] works.
My favorite is definitely [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and I would pronounce it as clem-en-tyne. Nicknames I like are [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Minty[/name_f] and [name_f]Mya[/name_f].
[name_f]Clementina[/name_f]! By far. I adore [name_f]Clementina[/name_f]. [name_f]Clemency[/name_f] would be my second favorite of those you listed, although I also like the [name_m]French[/name_m] [name_f]Clemence[/name_f] (clay-MAHNSE). [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], ironically, is my least favorite. I even like the Polish [name_f]Klementyna[/name_f] more than [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (honestly, almost as much as [name_f]Clementina[/name_f], because I have a huge thing for Polish names!).
My favorite nn for it is [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], but I’d probably pull [name_f]Lina[/name_f]/[name_f]Lena[/name_f] from [name_f]Clementina[/name_f], too.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favorite, but [name_f]Clemency[/name_f] is growing on me. I like the nn [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] a lot. I sort of like [name_u]Clem[/name_u] but at the same time don’t, ha.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] (rhyming w/ whine) is my favorite as for nn my favorites are [name_f]Emme[/name_f]/[name_f]Emmie[/name_f] [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]/[name_f]Clea[/name_f] and Lemen with [name_f]Minty[/name_f] as a far fourth
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] I would use with nickname [name_f]Clea[/name_f]! Other ideas are [name_f]Emme[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Lea[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] from your brainstorm.
I know where I live it would get pronounced -tyne so I’d probably go with that for simplicity’s sake. In a perfect world I love clay-mahn-teen for the pronunciation, assuming the first e had an accent mark.
[name_f]Clemency[/name_f] is also a nice option. What about [name_f]Clemence[/name_f]? Granted it is prettier sounding when it’s clay-mahnce vs cleh-mense
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is my favorite, followed by [name_f]Clemency[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] a lot, and pronounce it like the fruit (rhymes with wine). If you don’t want [name_u]Clem[/name_u] to be used, you’re going to have to get the nickname going fast, and be hard about it, because it’s the intuitive shortened form of the name. I don’t like it either. For a brief time, our cat was called [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], and everybody called her [name_u]Clem[/name_u]. Luckily, we discovered she was a boy and changed his name. I think Emm/[name_f]Emmy[/name_f] and [name_f]Clea[/name_f]/o are darling nicknames, and I quite like [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] as well.
I prefer [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and I would pronounce it as [name_u]Clem[/name_u]-men-tyne. I dislike [name_f]Clemency[/name_f] and do not like [name_f]Clementina[/name_f].
