[name_f]Sarah[/name_f], I might get him convinced on [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] rather than [name_m]Barnabus[/name_m]. He insisted on [name_m]Barnabus[/name_m] but I like [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] better.
Ok, had a quick conversation with him. He agreed to change it to [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] Rook.

I love the way you described them. That’s sort of where I’m at with them. [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] Rook is one of [name_u]Cody[/name_u]'s favorites out of these and if I mention Firefly to him he’ll tell me to shut the whole poll down, we have to have it. I could see him there with [name_u]Mal[/name_u] and [name_f]Jayne[/name_f], everyone calls him Rook or [name_m]Barnes[/name_m] or Virg…He’s sort of [name_f]Jayne[/name_f] and sort of [name_m]Wash[/name_m] to me. He could fly but he’d shoot you too and he always wants grenades! As you can tell, Firefly appeals slightly more

If not, that’s fine. He’s sort of wanting to find a new first name to balance our lists out anyway. We have one extra name on the girls side and it bothers us. [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] Archimedes was my favorite but now I love [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] Rook (or equivalent) too much. If Archimedes doesn’t work with [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] Barnaby__ then I need a new first for __[name_m]Edwin[/name_m] Archimedes
[name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] Rook was my second favourite so I’m on board with this one. Not as cool as [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] Archimedes, but sigh! not my list. I nixed [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] because I see them as girls’ names. My pick would be [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] Archimedes. Not a fan of [name_m]Edwin[/name_m], though I voted for it.
[name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] Rook is great, but… [name_m]Virgil[/name_m]? Are you sure? I see it being very, very teasable. Not saying it’s a terrible choice or anything, but I would hate for my name to be [name_m]Virgil[/name_m].

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] is a girls name where as [name_m]Artemus[/name_m] is the boys spelling and is also a saints name
Yea, we’re mostly sure. We get the teasable aspects, but down here in the south, [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] tends to be more of a common name. It’s one of those old fashioned family named.
[name_m]Virgil[/name_m] [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] Archimedes T. Is still shorter than [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]'s name I hear the EE thing. I’ll mull it over and see if it bothers me too much.
