First pronunciation for both.
suh-[name]SEEL[/name]-ee-uh & kawr-[name]DEE[/name]-lee-uh
Suh seel ee uh and cor dee lee uh sort of lol, I am british though so i do not know how it is pronounced in other countries x
cor-[name]DEE[/name]-lee-uh and suh-[name]SEEL[/name]-yuh
I pronounce them:
[name]Cecelia[/name] - Seh-see-lee-uh
[name]Cordelia[/name] - [name]Cor[/name]-dee-lee-uh
Same, essentially. Spoken quickly, the ee-uh ending resembles -ya, but it’s not quite as abrupt as skipping the ee syllable altogether.
My daughter’s name is [name]Cecilia[/name] and we pronounce it both ways, mainly because we are close to Mexico.
I love the name [name]Cordelia[/name] and only say [name]Cor[/name]-deel-ya. So sad I can never use this one because it’s too similar to [name]Cecilia[/name].
Yep, same here.
[name]Cecelia[/name]- [name]Seh[/name]-see-lee-ah
[name]Cordelia[/name]- [name]Cor[/name]-dee-lee-ah
Yep.
Sa-seel-yah
core-deel-yah.
