I would choose [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] so she has a formal female name. [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] reads all boy to me.

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] ‘[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]’ works well

[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is great! [name_m]Haze[/name_m] makes more sense as the nickname’s spelling, though.

[name_m]Hayes[/name_m] as a standalone would be my second choice. I really dislike [name_f]Hazyl[/name_f], I’m afraid. It doesn’t strike me as alternative, just needlessly complicated and overly trendy.

I adore [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! It think getting to [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] is really easy from there, and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] is vintage, classic, and cool, and gives her a nice formal name. I’m afraid [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] as a given name is a bit too masculine, and [name_f]Hazyl[/name_f] would lead to spelling headaches and I think it looks a bit clunky.

I much prefer [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]! [name_m]Hayes[/name_m], or [name_m]Haze[/name_m] as a nickname works fine. I prefer the [name_m]Haze[/name_m] spelling personally but it’s personal preference really.
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m] alone isn’t really a girly name. It just reminds me of a last name.

Definitely, [name_f]Hazel[/name_f]. [name_f]Hazyl[/name_f] looks really awkward, and [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] I do like, though for a boy (it does work as a nickname for [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] though).
