I would have voted for [name]Finn[/name], if it was [name]Finley[/name]. I voted for [name]Ezra[/name] instead. I don’t care for [name]Zeb[/name].
I like [name]Zebulon[/name] and [name]Zebedee[/name] and yes, they would be more unusual than [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name] but I don’t think it’s a deal breaker. [name]Finn[/name] seems very short and its a very different style than your other children’s names. I like [name]Ezra[/name] too but he would share an initial with [name]Elijah[/name]. I guess you could give him the nn [name]Ezri[/name] if you wanted. Have you considered [name]Ezekiel[/name]?
I voted for [name]Ezra[/name]. I just don’t like [name]Finn[/name]. It doesn’t seem like a whole name to me and it seems kind of trendy, while your other kids’ names are more classic.
I prefer [name]Zev[/name] to [name]Zeb[/name] and I’m not a fan of [name]Zebulon[/name] or [name]Zebedee[/name].
[name]Even[/name] though [name]Zev[/name] isn’t necessarily a nickname, you could do [name]Zevi[/name], nn [name]Zev[/name].
You have really fantastic names to choose from! [name]Both[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] and [name]Zeb[/name] are on my list, though DH isn’t a fan. I prefer [name]Zebulon[/name] to [name]Zebedee[/name], but both are amazing choices! I voted for [name]Zeb[/name] simply because [name]Ezra[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name] both start with E. I don’t think it’s a bad thing at all, I just couldn’t decide, and that seemed an easy tie breaker
[name]Finn[/name] fits the best stylistically. [name]Sofia[/name], [name]Elijah[/name], and [name]Finn[/name] is perfect. BUT… I’m not a fan of [name]Finn[/name]. I think [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Zebedee[/name], and [name]Zebulon[/name] are so much cooler. [name]Zeb[/name] would make such a fun and unexpected brother to the predictable [name]Sofi[/name] and [name]Eli[/name]. [name]Sofia[/name], [name]Elijah[/name], and [name]Zebedee[/name]/[name]Zebulon[/name] could definitely work. I don’t think the departure from the expected is a bad thing at all.
I don’t think it’s a great idea to have 2 out of three begin with the same letter. You will always have one questioning why she wasn’t an “E” name. (being a girl might not be a good enough answer)…I love [name]Zebedee[/name]!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] to update for anyone interested, it was a boy! We ended up naming him [name_m]Zebedee[/name_m] [name_u]Blaine[/name_u], and call him [name_m]Zeb[/name_m]. It suits him perfectly, and we love it!
